Shaykh Ibn al-Uthaymeen (rahimahullah): We say to a person: Rely on yourself when it comes to people. Do not ask them for anything and do not lower yourself in front of them. And make sure you are not in need of them as much as you are able to. But when it comes to Allah, do not be self-sufficient! But always keep (asking Him and) depending on Him until things become easier for you. [Shaykh Ibn al-Uthaymeen (rahimahullah), Qawl al-Mufeed, 2/39] t.me/striving4firdaws

*بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم* *تكبيرات عشرة ذي الجحة* (The Takbeerat of The Ten Days of Thul Hijjah) There is a Sunnah of the first ten days of Thul Hijjah which has become neglected by many in the West, which we can all revive seeking reward from *الله تعالى*. It is the Sunnah of saying the Takbeerat in the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah i.e to say the takbeerat of Eid in these 9 days and on Eid Al-Adhaa. Daleel: قوله تعلى {وَيَذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَّعْلُومَاتٍ} Surah Al-Hajj:28 The meaning is we are to mention the name of الله in the ten days that are well known. Ibn Abaas رضي الله عنه said this means to say the Takbeeraat in the first ten days (of Thul Hijjah) and as for the speech of الله, *{وَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَّعْدُودَاتٍ ۚ}* (Meaning mention Allah in the numbered days...) Surah Al-Baqara:203 This is to say the Takbeerat in the days of Tashreek (i.e the three days following Eid Al-Adhaa, the 11th, 12th, and 13th) Refer to the tafseer of Ibn Katheer of Al-Baqara: 203 and Al-Hajj: 28 The *Sunnah* of the Takbeerat of the first ten days are general and are to be said at any time during these days. The takbeerat said on the 11th 12th and 13th are only to be said *after each salah* until Asr prayer on the 13th. The Effects of Sins "Therefore, it is obligatory upon a Muslim to be aware of sins, and if he falls into any sins, then he must hasten to repent; and Allāh accepts repentance of the one who repents. Therefore, one should not take disobedience (sins) lightly and be deceived by the fact that Allāh overlooks, nor should one be amazed by himself and thus continue for long periods upon disobedience and having overwhelming hope in the mercy of Allāh. Yes, the mercy of Allāh is vast, but His punishment is real; His punishment is painful. Therefore, the person should not feel safe from the plan of Allāh, nor should he take sins and disobedience lightly. Perhaps he takes a minor sin lightly and it drags him to a major sin, or perhaps he takes a minor sin lightly and it intensifies and grows and thus destroys him while he does not perceive it. So it is obligatory upon the person to beware of all sins and acts of disobedience, to hasten to repent, and to increase in seeking forgiveness. He should increase in doing righteous deeds and hope for the mercy of Allah while fearing the punishment of Allāh, so that he combines between hope and fear." *Heedlessness About the Virtues of The First Ten Days of Dhul Hijjah* ✍🏼Sheikh ibn Uthaimeen رحمه الله تعالى said: "Righteous actions, including fasting in the (first) ten days of Dhul Hijjah are more beloved to Allaah سبحانه و تعالى than righteous actions of the last ten days of Ramadhan. Yet the people are heedless of the ten days of Dhul Hijjah. They pass and the people are upon normal ways. You find no increase in reading the Qur'aan or the other types of worship, rather some of them even stingy with the takbir." 📖 As Sharh Al Mumti; (6/70) t.me/striving4firdaws

hi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) as saying: Is any one of you incapable of reciting a third of the Qur’an in a night? They (the Companions) asked: How could one recite a third of the Qur’an (in a night)? Upon this he (the Prophet ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him)) said:” He is Allah, One” is equivalent to a third of the Qur’an. [Sahih Muslim] Therefore let us recite as much of the Qur’an as we can during these 10 days and nights and aim to recite it from cover to cover if we can. After that we should continue reciting the Qur’an throughout the rest of the year, for it is one of the excellent forms of worship! Tip: Increase your recitation by adding a few minutes or pages to your usual recitation routine. If you don’t have a routine yet, maybe this is the time for you start forming the habit. Begin by committing to recite at least one or two pages (or for 10 minutes, if you are a slow reciter) and then work to increase on this. Carry a small pocket mus’haf with you or install a reliable Qur’an app on a mobile device so that Shaytan cannot discourage you when you are out and about! Note: It is also very relevant to read the story of Prophet Ibrahim 'alayhi'l-salām (peace be upon him) which will give one a deeper understanding of the rituals of Hajj and the qurbani. Showing exemplary character: The Prophet Muhammad ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said, "Nothing is heavier on the believer's Scale on the Day of Judgment than good character. For indeed Allah, Most High, is angered by the shameless obscene person." [Tirmidhi] [1] Saheeh: Related by al-Bazzaar (1/234). It was authenticated by Shaykh al-Albaanee in Saheehul-Jaami’ (no. 1133). [2] Refer to Zaadul-Ma’aad (1/56). llah) during the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah. These words should be recited abundantly in the masajid, homes, streets and in every place where it is permissible to remember and glorify Allah. “That they may witness things that are of benefit to them (reward of Hajj in the Hereafter and also some worldly gain from trade), and mention the Name of Allah on appointed days, over the beast of cattle that He has provided for them (for sacrifice).” [Surah Al-Haj:28] Reciting the Takbeeraat-e-Tashreeq from the 9th to the 13th of Dhul Hijjah: Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Laa ilaaha illallahu Wallahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Wa lillahil Hamd. Translation: “Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest. There is no deity besides Allah and Allah is the greatest. Allah is the greatest and all praises are for Allah only.” Men can recite the above after every fardh salaat from Fajr of the 9th of Dhul Hijjah until Asr of the 13th of Dhul Hijjah audibly. Women should recite it silently. Tip: Remember and glorify Allah no matter what you are doing: This is particularly easy as one can remember Allah anywhere and at any time whether it is during work or any daily activity. 3. Offering the Qurbani (sacrifice of a livestock animal) The qurbani (also known as udh’hiya) is the sacrifice of a livestock animal during Eid ul-Adha. It is the sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim 'alayhi'l-salām (peace be upon him). It is a means of getting closer to Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He). It is obligatory upon every sane adult who is not a traveller and can afford it (wealth equal to or more than nisab). It is performed on the days of sacrifice which is the 10th, 11th or 12th of Dhul Hijjah. One may sacrifice a thousand animals on days other than these, but it will never be regarded or considered as udh’hiya. Therefore the qurbani is a sacred act which can only be done during the three days of Dhul Hijjah as specified. Regarding the qurbani, Allah says in the Qur’an: “It is not their meat, nor their blood, that reaches Allah, It is their piety that reaches Allah.” [Surah Al-Haj:37] Tip: It is best to go about the sacrifice the traditional way and offering it in your locality so that you obtain the lesson from the sacrifice and remind yourself of the emotions and test that Prophet Ibrahim 'alayhi'l-salām (peace be upon him) himself endured. 4. Doing more good deeds than usual The Prophet ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said: “There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days (Dhul Hijjah).” [Sunan Ibn Majah] Therefore we should increase the amount of good deeds we do in order to take advantage of this blessed time where good deeds are increased significantly. Tip: Complete as many worldly tasks as possible beforehand and do not waste this precious time: Make arrangements to clear as many of your pending tasks as possible or make a plan for tackling them later. This way, one is free to worship during the 10 days and nights without being distracted by worldly tasks. We must make a firm intention that during these blessed 10 days that we will not take part in idle talk, watch TV, play computer games or spend time on the social media. There are many more days in the year for all that – if you really cannot resist. This is just 10 days! Consider the utter loss and regret for those who waste these blessed 10 days. The following 7 deeds are amongst the best actions we can do during these blessed 10 days: Reciting the Qur’an abundantly: “Whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allah, he will have a reward. And that reward will be multiplied by ten. I am not saying that “Alif, Laam, Meem” is a letter, rather I am saying that “Alif” is a letter, “laam” is a letter and “meem” is a letter.” [At-Tirmidhi] So if one letter of the Qur’an is equivalent to ten good deeds then imagine how much reward there is for reading each letter during these blessed 10 days which are said to be the best days of the year! Subhanallah! Abu Darda’ reported Allah’s Apostle ṣallallāhu 'alay

The Virtue of the first 10 Days of Dhul-Hijjah (From Riyaad-us-Saaliheen) The first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah are the best and most virtuous days of the year. They are the days in which Allaah the Mighty and Majestic – most loves the doing of good deeds. About this the Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, “The best days in the world are the ten days.” [1] Imaam Ibnul-Qayyim (d.751H) – rahimahullaah – said, “Indeed, its days are the most excellent of all the days with Allaah. And it has been confirmed in Saheehul-Bukhaaree (2/382), from Ibn ’Abbaas (radiyallaahu ’anhumaa) who said, that Allaah’s Messenger (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, “There are no days during which good deeds are more beloved to Allaah than these (ten) days.” He was then asked, ‘Not even jihaad in the path of Allaah?’ So he replied, “Not even jihaad in the path of Allaah, except for a person who goes out with his self and his wealth, and comes back with nothing.” And it is these ten days that Allaah has taken an oath by in His Book, by His saying, “By the Dawn and by the Ten Nights.” [Sooratul-Fajr 89:1-2] This is why it is recommended to increase in making takbeer (saying Allaahu akbar), tahleel (saying Laa ilaaha illallaah) and tamheed (saying Alhamdulillaah) during these days …”[2] The Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, “There are no days that are greater with Allaah, and in which good deeds are more beloved to Him, than these ten days. So increase in making tasbeeh (saying Subhaanallaah), tamheed, tahleel and takbeer, during them.”[3] The following are recommended acts to do during the blessed 10 days and nights of Dhul Hijjah. 1. Fasting the 9 days of Dhul Hijjah It is recommended to fast on the first nine days of Dhul Hijjah, especially on the 9th which is the blessed day of Arafah. Allah’s Messenger ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) encouraged us to do righteous deeds in the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah; and indeed fasting is one of the best of deeds. Almighty Allah says, “All the deeds of the son of Adam are for him, except fasting, which is for Me and I shall reward for it.”’ [Sahih Al-Bukhari] Note: The 10th of Dhul Hijjah is the day of Eid ul Adha and it is prohibited to fast on this day. Forgiveness for 2 years of sins (minor sins) for fasting on the day of Arafah: Abu Qatadah Al-Ansari raḍyAllāhu 'anhu (may Allāh be pleased with him) narrated, “The Messenger of Allah ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) was asked about fasting on the day of Arafah (the 9th of the month of Dhul Hijjah). He replied, “Fasting on the day of Arafah is an expiation for the preceding year and the following year.” He was also asked about fasting on the day of Ashura (the 10th of the month of Muharram). He replied, “Fasting on the day of Ashura is an expiation for the preceding year.” The Messenger of Allah ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) was also asked about fasting on Monday, and he replied, “This is the day on which I was born and the day on which I was sent (with the Message of Islam) and the day on which I received revelation.” [Muslim] Therefore we should try our utmost to fast all the blessed 9 days of Dhul Hijjah – particularly the 9th of Dhul Hijjah which is the day of Arafah. If not then we should at least fast as many as we can possibly can as we may not get this opportunity again next year as life is uncertain and we should never procrastinate on doing good actions. Tip: Eat light and hydrate well. If you will be staying up until Fajr, then the more you eat, the harder it will be for you to stay up and the less productive you will be! Keep some water with you at all times during the night. This will help you stay up, feel energised and refreshed and have a clearer mind. Also encourage your family and friends to join in! 2. Reciting tasbeeh, tahmeed, tahleel and takbeer abundantly It is Sunnah to recite takbeer (Allahu Akbar), tahmeed (Alhamdulillah), tahleel (Laa ilaaha ill-Allah), and tasbeeh (SubhanA

If you intend to do something for your Hereafter – such as giving charity – then apply yourself to doing it quickly before the shaytaan (the devil) weakens your resolve and thus prevents you from doing it. Imām Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahillāh) said: *I spent some time in the city of Makkah whilst frequently experiencing illness that I could not find a doctor for nor a remedy, so I would treat myself with the opening chapter of the Qur’an, and I would find that it had an amazing effect.* *So I would prescribe this to those who complain of an ailment and many of them would be swiftly cured.¹* 📖[¹ The author also mentions such accounts on his authorships of Zād al Ma'ād and Madārij as-Sālikīn. Hasan al-Basri (rahimahullah) said to Mutarraf ibn 'Abdillah: “Advise your companions!" He replied: I am scared to say something to them that I do not practice myself. Hasan (rahimahullah) retorted: May Allāh have mercy upon you! Who is there amongst us who does everything he says? This is how shaytan attains his objective, so that no one enjoins goodness and forbids evil. [Tafsīr al-Qurtubi (rahimahullah), 1/367] t.me/striving4firdaws

The Taqwa of The Sheep Herder Ibn Umar (radiyAllahu anhuma) went on a journey once with some companions, and they saw a sheep herder. They invited the sheep herder to eat with them. The sheep herder said: ‘I am fasting’ Ibn Umar (radiyAllahu anhuma) said: ‘You are fasting whilst it is so hot, and while you are between all these plants and sheep?’ The herder replied: ‘I'm taking advantage of my remaining days’ (i.e., the days before my death) Ibn ‘Umar (radiyAllahu anhuma) was moved by this reply and said: ‘Can you sell one of your sheep to us?We'll feed you from its meat when you break your fast, and we'll also pay you for it.’ The herder replied: ‘It does not belong to me. It belongs to my master.’ Ibn Umar (radiyAllahu anhuma) asked (testing him): ‘So what would your master say if you told him that it was eaten by a wolf?’ The herder raised his finger to the sky and said: ‘What about Allāh?’ Ibn Umar (radiyAllahu anhuma) left. He was so moved by the response that he kept repeating the phrase (of the herder) to himself: ‘What about Allāh?’ ‘What about Allāh?’ ‘What about Allāh?’ When he (radiyAllahu anhuma) arrived at the city, he went to the herder’s owner and purchased him and his sheep from him. He then freed the herder and gave him his sheep as a gift. [Lataa'if al-Ma'aarif of Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali (rahimahullah), pg. 323]. t.me/striving4firdaws

*Whoever Spends Something Today Will Benefit From It Tomorrow – Nice Story* Thus whoever spends something today will benefit from it tomorrow and whoever does not spend will come to find nothing, and he will have a great loss in the house of dwelling (in the Hereafter). Some of the Salaf said, “O son of Adam, you will only live on the Day of Judgment in what you have built, and you will find on that day what possessions you have prepared in your life.” A women entered upon ‘A’ishah (radiy Allaahu anha), and her hand was paralysed. She said, “O mother of the Believers, I went to sleep yesterday and my hand was healthy, and I woke up and it was paralysed. ‘A’ishah said, “How is that?” She said, “I had wealthy parents, and my Father used to pay zakat, host guests, and give to beggars, and he did not see any good except that he would do it. As for my mother, she was stingy, and did nothing good with my Father’s wealth. Then my Father died, and my mother died only two months after him. So I saw my Father in a dream last night, and he was wearing two yellow garments and in front of him was a flowing river. I said, “Father, what is this?’ He said, “Whoever does good in this life will see it, this is what Allah has given me.” I said, “What has happened to my mother?” He asked, “Your Mother dies?” I said, “Yes” He said, “She has been turned away from me, so look for her on your left” So I turned to my left, and I saw my mother standing naked, covering her lower half with a rag and in her hand was a piece of fat. She was calling out, “My sadness, my thirst’ When she became tired she would rub the fat with her hand and then lick it, while in front of her was a flowing river. I said, ‘O mother, why are you crying out of thirst, and there is a flowing river in front of you?’ She said, ‘I am not allowed to drink from it.’ I said, Can I give you some of the water?’ She said, ‘I wish you would do that.’ So I filled my hand with water and let her drink, and when she swallowed it I heard a voice on my right, ‘Whoever has given this woman water, may his hand be paralysed,’ and they repeated it twice. Then I awoke and my hand was paralysed, and I am not able to do anything with it. ‘A’ishah asked: ‘Did you recognise the rag she was wearing?’ I said, ‘Yes, O Mother of the Believers, it was exactly the same one I saw her wearing, for I had never seen my mother give anything as charity, except that one day my Father slaughtered a bull. So a beggar came to ask for some, so my mother gave him a bone that had some fat on it. And I saw one day that a beggar asked her for charity, so she gave him that exact rag.’ A’ishah (radiy Allaahu anha) said, Allah is the Most Great! Allah has told the truth, and the Messenger has delivered the message. ‎فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ “So whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it, And whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it” [al-Azalzalah (99): 7-8] This was nararted by Hafiz Abu Musa al-Madani with a good isnad.[21] Footnotes: [21] Hakim in his al-Mustadrak, (4/471) and by Ibn Abi al-Dunya in his ‘Kitab al-Mujabi al-Du’a,(p.74-75). This world is more insignificant in the eye of Allah as dead lamb – Sahih Muslim Sahih Muslim :Book 042, Number 705 Jabir b. Abdullah reported that Allah’s Messenger (Sallalaahu Alaihi wa Sallam) happened to walk through the bazar coming from the side of ‘Aliya and the people were on both his sides. There he found a dead lamb with very short ears. He took hold of his ear and said: Who amongst you would like to have this for a dirham? They said: We do not like to have it even for less than that as it is of no use to us. He said: Do you wish to have it (free of any cost)? They said: By Allah, even if it were alive (we would not have liked to possess that), for there is detect in it as its ear is very short; now it is dead also. Thereupon Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: By Allah, this world is more insignificant in the eye of Allah as it (this dead lamb) is in your eye. phet as a Messenger: then this includes having prefect obedience to him, and complete submission to him, whereby the Prophet –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam– is foremost to a person than his own self. So he does not take guidance except from the places of the Messenger’s speech, he does not turn for a judgement except to him, and no one gives a judgement above his, and he totally is not pleased with someone else’s judgement, not in anything from the Asmaa (Names) of Allaah and His characteristics and His actions, nor in anything from the perception and sense of the reality of al Eemaan and its different levels, nor in anything from the Ahkam (rulings) apparent and hidden, and a person is not pleased with a ruling regarding these things from someone other than the Messenger, and he is not pleased except with his ruling. If however a person is incapable of following the Messenger’s judgement, then him having someone else’s judgement then this is from the view of forceful nourishment for a person who cannot find that which would sustain himself with except from dead flesh and blood. The best that can be said about this situation is that it is like using dust, which is used for Tayummum (dry ablution) when a person is incapable of using water for purification. Being pleased with His Deen (Religion): As for being pleased with the Deen, so if the Deen says something or gives a ruling or commands or prohibits then a person should be completely pleased with it. There does not remain any opposition and resistance in his heart from its ruling, and he submits to it with total submission. Even if it opposes what his own self intends, or his desires, or the statement of the one whom he blindly follows, or his Shaykh or his sect, this is where all the people desert you except the Ghuraba (those who adhere to the Sunnah) in this world. Beware of feeling distressed and lonely of being isolated and alone [i.e. Since the people abandon you for holding on to the Sunnah, being from the Ghuraba.] since indeed it is -and I swear by Allaah- the distinction of honour and companionship with Allaah and His Messenger and it is the soul of being close to Allaah. And being pleased with Allaah as a Lord, Muhammad as a Messenger and Islaam as a religion. 📖 [Madarij as-Salikeen 2/170-172] t.me/striving4firdaws

Being Pleased With Allaah, His Messenger & His Deen By : Shaykhul Islaam Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah رحمه الله Ibn Qayyim aj-Jawzeeyah Rahimullaah- said: ‘The Prophet – sallAllaahu alayhi wasallam –said: ذَاقَ طَعْمَ الإيمانِ : مَنْ رَضِيَ بالله ربًّا، وبالإسلام دينًا، وبمحمَّدٍ رَسُولاً ‘The sweetness of Eemaan has been tasted by he, whomever is pleased with Allaah as a Lord, Islaam as a religion and Muhammad as a Messenger.’ [Collected by Muslim] The Prophet – sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam –said: مَنْ قَالَ حِيْنَ يَسْمَعُ النِّدَاءَ رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولاً، وَبِالإِسْلاَمِ دِينًا. غُفِرَ لَهُ ذَنْبُهُ ‘Whoever says, when he hears the call to prayer, I am pleased with Allaah as a Lord, Muhammad as a Messenger and Islaam as a religion, then his sin will be forgiven.’ [Collected by Muslim] The levels of the religion revolve around these two Ahadeeth and they end with these. Indeed these two Ahadeeth include being pleased with the Ruboobeeyah (Lordship) of Allaah Subhanahu, and His Ulooheeyah (worshipping Him), being pleased with His Messenger and having obedience to him, and being pleased with Allaah’s religion and having submission to it. Whoever has these four aspects combined, then he truly is a Siddeeq (truthful) person. It is an easy claim and statement to say, but it is from the most difficult matters in reality and in being tested, especially if what occurs opposes the desires of the soul and the intent of that becomes clear that being pleased was stated with just the tongue, so it was upon the tongue and not with ones actions. Therefore, being pleased with Allaah’s ieelaheeya (meaning the One who is worshipped): includes being pleased with loving Him alone, being fearful of Him, having hope in Him, and turning repentantly to Him, and having devotion for Him, andstrength of intention and having all love for Him, the person being pleased does everything to please his beloved, and this includes His worship and having sincerity for Allaah. Being pleased with His Ruboobeeyah (Lordship): This includes being pleased with what Allaah has planned and disposed for His slave. Being pleased with Allaah’s Ruboobeeyah also includes singling Allaah out alone for having trust and reliance upon Him, and seeking assistance with Him, trusting Him, having reliance upon Him, and that a person is pleased with everything that Allaah does to him. The first: includes being pleased with what He commands. The second: includes being pleased with what He destined for him. There are many people who are pleased with Allaah as a Lord and they do not desire any other Lord except Him, however, they are not pleased with Him with being the only Wali (Guardian) and being the only Helper. But they have loyalty to Awaliyah other than Allaah, thinking that they are bringing you closer to Allaah, and that being loyal to them is like being loyal to those who are close to the king, and this is specific Shirk. Indeed Tawheed is that a person does not take any one other than Allaah as an Awaliyah, and the Qur’aan is full of the description of the Mushrikeen that they took Awaliyah other than Allaah. This is not the loyalty that one has for Allaah’s Prophets, His Messengers and His believing slaves, since this is from the completion of Eemaan to have loyalty to His Prophets, and this is in fact complete loyalty for Allaah. Therefore, having loyalty for His Awliyah is one colour and taking a Wali other than Allaah is a different colour. Whoever has not understood the distinction and criterion between them, then he must study Tawheed from its foundation, since this issue is a foundation of Tawheed and its base principle. There are many people who desire to take someone other than Allaah as a judge to whom they can take their judgements to. With whom they could debate, and be pleased with his judgement. These three levels are the pillars of Tawheed; that none other than Allah is taken as a Lord, or as a deity and none other than Him has a command. Being pleased with His Prophet: As for being pleased with His Pro

Then he said: *“Ask your heart regarding it. Piety is that which contents the soul and comforts the heart, and sin is that which causes doubts and perturbs the heart, even if people pronounce it lawful and give you verdicts on such matters again and again.”* [Ahmad and Ad-Darmi] Commentary: _Islam lays much importance on courteous behavior and also explains and stresses its different aspects. To meet people cheerfully, to avoid causing trouble to them, rather to try to make things convenient and comfortable to them, to do social service, to extend co-operation to others in good things and to be generous, and to like for others also that you like for yourself, are all forms of moral behaviour that are counted as virtues in Islam. All that is bad and vicious is considered by Islam as sinful. This Hadith describes two signs of sin. First, man should feel scruples in committing it. Second, one does not like others being informed about it. The Hadith further tells us that human nature (fitra) leads man to correct conclusions and keeps away from evils, provided it has not been deformed by the environment and bad company._ *Riyaadiss-Saliheen (The Meadows of the Righteous)* *By Imam An Nawawi* *Hadith 1: Chapter 68, Page 193, No 590* *Hadith 2: Chapter 68, Page 193, No 591📖*
