*Little Effort, Lots of Rewards* It was narrated that Abu Umamah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) saw me moving my lips and he said to me: “What are you saying, O Abu Umamah?” I said: I am remembering Allaah, O Messenger of Allaah. He said: “Shall I not tell you of something better or greater than your dhikr of night and day or of day and night? You should say: *Subhan Allaah ‘adad ma khalaqa, subhan Allaah mil’a ma khalaqa, subhan Allaah ‘adad ma fi’l-ard was-sama, subhan Allaah mil’a ma fis-samai wa’l-ard, subhan Allaah mil’a ma khalaqa, subhan Allaah ‘adad ma ahsa kitabuhu, subhan Allaah mil’a kulli shay’in* *(Glory be to Allaah the number of what He has created, glory be to Allaah filling what He has created, glory be to Allaah the number of what is in earth and heaven, glory be to Allaah filling what is in heaven and earth, glory be to Allaah filling what He has created, glory be to Allaah the number of what is written in His book, glory be to Allaah filling all things); and say Al-hamdu Lillah likewise.”* [Collected by Nasaai (6/50), Ibnu Khuzaimah (1/371), at-Tabaraani (8/238) and Shaykh Al-Albaani graded it Saheeh in "Saheeh al-Jaami" (2615)] t.me/striving4firdaws

💠💠💠 💠💠 💠 #Ramadan            بســـم اللــه الرحــمــن الـرحـــيــم 🎁Take Advantage of that Which Remains of this blessed month of Ramadhān 🎁 : 🎙️Our Shaykh Abū Muhammad Abdul Hamid al-Hajoori- may Allāh preserve him- said: 📍"Oh people upon us is to take advantage of that which remains (of Ramadan), that we seek our lords forgiveness so that he may forgive us for that which has preceded, and we ask him to grant us success in that which remains. The deeds are considered by the ending of it, the month of Ramadan is a blessed month from the beginning to the end of it based upon that which has preceded repeatedly “when the month of Ramadan enters the gates of paradise are opened, the doors of the hell fire are closed and the devils are chained" Except that the end of it is better than the beginning of and the prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم  used to strive in the last ten of Ramadan that which he wouldn’t in other parts of it. Whilst it is known that he used to strive in Ramadan that which he wouldn’t in other than it but when the last ten would enter would pray all the night, and would keep his family awake for the prayers. He tied his lower garment (i.e., avoided sleeping with his wives) and devoted himself entirely to prayer and supplication. Reported by Bukhari and Muslim The days and nights are going by and only a little is left so oh seeker of good come close and oh seeker of evil stop and halt. The people in the end of this season occupy themselves with buying or selling their goods whilst we are in the end of it so we should be more eager than the people of the worldly life upon their worldly affairs and we should strive. Look Ramadan entered before a few nights, and we didn’t think it would end this fast we were anticipating the heat, and the hardships, but it was easy and tranquil, Allah made easy that which the people anticipated of heat and put away the harm that occurred to other than us thus it is a must we say Oh Allah all praise and thanks is for you. And that we thank Allah with our tongues and actions, for the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم used to stand in the night until his feet became swollen and it was said to him why do you exert yourself whilst Allah has forgiven that which has preceded and that which will come of sins for you so he said "Shall I not be a thankful slave!" The souls become weak you find in the beginning of the month the young and old, from the men and women are acceptant upon obedience but as the month passes you see them getting lazy and this is seen with many except those who strive against their soul. Thus it is befitting for us to strive against our souls for that which remains from the blessed nights perhaps Allah will grant us good if we correct our intentions, and cure our hopes and follow Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم in regards to that which he used to do and leave off." http://T.me/abdulhamid12

*Du’a in Prostration* The Messenger of Allah (salAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: *The closest a servant is to his Lord is when he is in prostration. So increase your supplications therein!* (Muslim, 482) Shaikh Ibn al-'Uthaymeen (rahimahullah) stated: *This is because he has placed his forehead* (face) — _the highest and most honourable part of his body_ — *down on the ground where people tread upon with their feet. In doing so he demonstrates the perfection of his subservience to Allah.* *The one standing up is actually higher up physically than the one down in prostration, however since the prostrating one humbled himself to Allah, consequently Allah raised him and so he is in reality closer to Allah* (in this position). *So it is appropriate you make plentiful supplication in these prostrations — whether obligatory or voluntary* (nafl/sunnah) *prayers — and you supplicate for whatever you wish* (after completing the prescribed supplications) *as long as it not sin or cutting the ties of kinship.* *So a student of knowledge may ask* _"O Allah increase me in knowledge and grant me understanding and memorisation",_ *the one building a house may ask* " _O Allah aid me in the completion of the house",_ *the youth may ask* " _O Allah grant me a (righteous) spouse"_… *and so on* 📖[Sifaatus Salaah by Shaykh Ibn al-Uthaymeen (rahimahullah), pg. 124] t.me/striving4firdaws

*Three Causes of Hearts Feeling Open or Tight and the Effect of That in the Grave* 🖋Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah (رحمه الله) ___________ And from the things that bring about an expansive feeling in [one’s] chest is persistent remembrance of Him in all circumstances and in all places, for remembrance [of Allāh] has a wondrous effect on bringing about an expanded feeling in the chest and a sense of delight in the heart, [while] being unmindful [of Him] has an astonishing effect on bringing about a tight feeling in the chest, a feeling of restriction, and a sense of torment. And from those things [that bring about a feeling of expansion in the chest] is being good to all creatures and benefiting them in whatever way one can [through one’s] wealth, reputation, physical help, as well as other means of doing good, for those who are noble, generous and ever-working the best of deeds are the widest of mankind in their chests, the most good-natured in themselves, and the most delighted and serene at heart, [while] the miser in whom there are no feelings of doing good to others is the tightest of mankind in his chest, the most miserable and troubled in life, the greatest of them in terms of worry and distress…. And from those things is having a courageous heart, for indeed a brave, strong-hearted person has wide feeling in his chest, an easy state of mind, and an expansive heart, [while] a coward is the tightest of mankind in his chest, the most restricted in his heart, never feeling any happiness or delight, nor any sense of pleasure or enjoyment except the animalistic kind; as for the joy in one’s soul, its pleasure, delight and happiness, they are [all] forbidden to every coward, just as they are forbidden to every miser and everyone who turns away from Allāh—far is He above any imperfection—paying no heed to remembering Him, having no knowledge of His the All‑High’s names and attributes, his heart connected to other than Him. And indeed this pleasure and joy [of having a feeling of expansion in the chest] becomes, in the grave, a meadow, a garden, [while that] tightness and restriction turns into torment and imprisonment. So a slave’s condition in the grave is like the heart’s condition in the chest—in a state of pleasure [or] a state of pain, a state of imprisonment [or] a state of freedom and release. And no consideration is to be given [with regard to a slave’s expected state in the grave] to a feeling of expansion in the chest that comes about for a temporary reason, nor to a feeling of tightness in the chest from a momentary cause, for there is no doubt that temporary situations disappear, as do the things that bring them about, and indeed the only thing that can be relied upon [in this regard] is that characteristic that has become established as the one that describes the heart [overall], necessitating its [general feeling] of wideness or restriction: that is the scale [to be used in judging this situation], and Allāh is the only one whose help can be sought. *📖[Zād al-Maʿād fī Hadyi Khayr al-ʿIbād]* t.me/striving4firdaws

بســـم اللــه الرحــمــن الـرحـــيــم *◾The differing of the people in seeing the Lord on the Day of Judgement*◾️ Answered by our Shaykh, the 'Allāmah, the Trustworthy Advisor, Abu 'Abdirrahman Yahya bin 'Ali Al-Hajūri - may Allāh preserve him - on the 25th, Shawwāl, 1441H *📥Question:* Does the seeing of the Lord differ amongst the believers on the Day of Judgement and in Jennah? *📤Answer:* The Prophet ﷺ said: إِنَّكُمْ سَتَرَوْنَ رَبَّكُمْ، كَمَا تَرَوْنَ هَذَا القَمَرَ، لاَ تُضَامُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَتِهِ _"Verily you will see your Lord as you see this moon, you will not have difficulty in seeing Him."_ This hadith points towards that the people of the place of standing on the Day of Judgement who are believers will see their Lord on the platform of the Day of Judgement without problem, and without over crowding, they will have no difficulty, as the hadith of Jarīr points towards and other than it. As for the entering of the believers into Jennah, then verily their seeing their Lord differs according to their levels, Allāh said: (وَلِكُلٍّ دَرَجَاتٌ مِمَّا عَمِلُوا وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ) *"For all there will be degrees (or ranks) according to what they did. And your Lord is not unaware of what they do."* [ Al-An'ām, 132] And Allāh said: (هُمْ دَرَجَاتٌ عِندَ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ بَصِيرٌ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ) *"They are in varying grades with Allāh, and Allāh is All-Seer of what they do."* [Aāl-'Imrān, 163] And in the two Sahīhs on the authority of Saīd Al-Khudrī may Allāh be pleased with him, that the Prophet ﷺ said: إِنَّ أَهْلَ الجَنَّةِ يَتَرَاءَوْنَ أَهْلَ الغُرَفِ مِنْ فَوْقِهِمْ، كَمَا يَتَرَاءَوْنَ الكَوْكَبَ الدُّرِّيَّ الغَابِرَ فِي الأُفُقِ، مِنَ المَشْرِقِ أَوِ المَغْرِبِ، لِتَفَاضُلِ مَا بَيْنَهُمْ _"Verily the people of Jennah will be able to see the people of rooms from above them, as you all see the shining stars in the horizon from the east or the west, due to the difference in levels amongst them."_ And from what they differ in from the pleasures is looking at the face of their Lord, so whoevers status is magnified, his pleasure of looking at his Lord magnify, and indeed it has come from the hadith of Ibn 'Umar may Allāh be pleased with him with Tirmidhī and Ahmed in his Musnad and other than them: إِنَّ أَدْنَى أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ مَنْزِلَةً الَّذِي يَنْظُرُ إِلَى جِنَانِهِ وَنَعِيمِهِ وَخَدَمِهِ وَسُرُرِهِ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ أَلْفِ سَنَةٍ، وَإِنَّ أَكْرَمَهُمْ عَلَى اللهِ، مَنْ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَجْهِهِ غُدْوَةً وَعَشِيَّة _"The least of people in the Jennah is one who looks at his gardens and his blessings and his servants and his beds from a period of 1000 years, and the most honoured by Allāh is the one who look at face in the morning and night."_ But this hadith is very weak, in its chain is Thawbar bin Al-Junaid: "Matrūk", and An-Nasā'ē said: "He is not thiqqah." And Thawrī said: "Thawbar was from the pillars of lies.", and Yūnus ibn Abī Ishāq said: "He was a Rāfidhī." The likes of this hadith is not to be relied upon in that the most honoured is the one who will look at His face morning and evening, due to its severe weakness, and it suffices to say: Verily the one whose status is high his blessings are more, and from the most magnificent of blessings is looking at the face of Allāh, so he will be more in that blessing of his than other than him from those who are lesser than him. And Allāh is the granter of success." ____ Translated by: Abu 'Abdillah 'Omar bin Yahya Al-'Akawi Click on the link to subscribe: https://t.me/ShaykhYahyaEn Click on the link to view the Arabic: https://t.me/sh_yahia_duroos/7048

Al-Imam Muḥammad b. Ṣāliḥ al-Uthaymīn (رحمه الله) said: "During the seasons of good (i.e. good works), during the month of Ramadan, the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah, etc., the companions were the most diligent of people in taking advantage of these times, performing acts of obedience for Allah. This is from the goodness that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) indicated: “The best of mankind is my generation, then the generation after them, then the generation after them.” [Al-Bukhārī (no. 6065), and Muslim (no. 2533)] Therefore, it is incumbent upon us to follow them in these matters, to take advantage of these times of good, and to avoid evil. For the reality of a person’s life is what he has spent in obedience to Allah. Thus, you find a person regarding the entirety of his life as nothing, as Allah states, …كَاَنَّهُمۡ يَوۡمَ يَرَوۡنَ مَا يُوۡعَدُوۡنَۙ لَمۡ يَلۡبَثُوۡۤا اِلَّا سَاعَةً مِّنۡ نَّهَارٍ… “On the day when they will see what they are promised, it will be as though they had not remained [in the world] except an hour of a day” [al-Ahqaf 46:35]. When your lifespan ends, you will not find anything from the worldly life. It will be as if it was a dream. However, if you spent this precious time in obedience to Allah, then you will have truly profited. Allah says, وَالۡعَصۡرِۙ، اِنَّ الۡاِنۡسَانَ لَفِىۡ خُسۡرٍۙ، اِلَّا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَ عَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوۡا بِالۡحَقِّ ۙ وَتَوَاصَوۡا بِالصَّبۡرِ “By time! Indeed, man is in loss, except those who have believed and performed righteous deeds and advised one another to truth and advised one another to patience” [al-Asr 103:1-3]. [Muhammad b. The Conduct of the Salaf Before and During Ramadan  Al-Imam ‘Abd al-Azīz b. Bāz (رحمه الله) was asked about the condition of the Salaf during Ramadan and stated, They would welcome [Ramadan] with joy, happiness, and advice to perform righteous deeds during this time. This is because it is a tremendous month; reaching it is a gift from Allah. The Prophet (ﷺ) used to give his companions glad tidings: ‘The blessed month of Ramadan has come to you,’ a month in which Allah has made the fast obligatory and the night prayer supererogatory. So, the believer rejoices over this month, diligently performs righteous deeds during it, and delights in it, just as the Prophet (ﷺ) would give his companions good news of [Ramaḍān]. Abd Al- Azīz b. Baz, “Hadyu al-Salaf fi Istiqbal Ramadan,” Binbaz.orghttp://www.binbaz.org.sa/old/28697.

The scholar Shaykh ibn Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy on him said: In Ramadan some of the people of knowledge would have a specific notebook with them while reciting the Qurān. Any time they would read an ayah that would make them stop or has many meanings they would write it down and ponder its meaning. They would leave Ramadan with much goodness from understanding the Qurān. Sheikh Muhammad ibn Salih al-'Uthaymeen (rahimahullah) once stated: The fasting person ought to occupy himself with prayer, dhikr, supplication, and reciting Qur'an so that he can have a number of different acts of worship together alongside his fasting. If a person trains himself and gets himself used to doing these acts of worship while he is fasting, they will become easy for him to do (outside of Ramadan). لى : ( إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى الصَّـابِرُونَ أَجْرَهُمْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ ) الزمر/10 🔸Fasting is patience in obeying Allaah, patience in keeping away from the things forbidden by Allaah, and patience in bearing the decree of Allaah, hunger, thirst, physical and mental weakness. So it combines all three types of patience, thus the fasting person deserves to be counted as one of the patient, and Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): "Only those who are patient shall receive their rewards in full, without reckoning." [Surah Az-Zumar, Verse 10] 📚 Source: “Majaalis Shahr Ramadaan” of Muhammad ibn Saalih al-Uthaymeen, p. 13 t.me/striving4firdaws

*Explanation of – 'Fasting is for Me and I Shall Reward For It'* The Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wasallam) said that: “Allaah said: ‘Every deed of the son of Adam is for him except fasting; it is for Me and I shall reward for it…’” [al-Bukhaari (1761) and Muslim (1946)] The obvious question which comes to one’s mind when he reads the above hadeeth is that, we all know that all deeds, actions and worship are for the sake of Allaah and He is the One Who rewards for them, so then what is special about fasting that Allaah has singled it out from other acts of worship by his statement “Fasting is for Me and I shall reward for it”? 📍Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Saalih al-‘Uthaymeen (rahimahullaah) said: "This hadeeth points to the virtue of fasting in numerous ways: (1) Allaah singled out fasting for Himself from all other good deeds, because of its honoured status before Him, because He loves it and because it is a demonstration of sincerity towards Him, as it is a secret between a person and his Lord, which no one can see except Allaah. The fasting person may be in a place with no other people around, and he could eat or drink that which Allaah has forbidden to the fasting person, but he does not do that, because he knows that he has a Lord Who can see him even though he is alone and Who has forbidden that to him. So he forsakes it for the sake of Allaah and fearing His punishment, seeking His reward. Because of that, Allaah appreciates his sincerity and singled out fasting for Himself from among all other good deeds. Hence He said: “He gives up his desires and his food for My sake.” 🔸The benefit of this singling out will be seen on the Day of Resurrection, as Sufyaan ibn ‘Uyaynah said: When the Day of Resurrection comes, Allaah will bring His slave to account and will settle any scores outstanding from the rest of his deeds, until when there is nothing left but fasting, Allaah will settle the matter and will admit him to Paradise by virtue of his fasting. (2) Allaah said concerning fasting: *“I shall reward him for it.”* So he connected the reward for fasting to Himself, because the reward for righteous deeds is mentioned by number, and a good deed will be rewarded between ten and seven hundred fold, many times. But with regard to fasting, Allaah connected the reward to Himself without specifying any number. Allaah is the most generous of those who are generous, and the gift reflects the generosity of the giver. So the reward of the one who fasts will be very great, without reckoning.

So we advise ourselves and our muslim brothers to prepare for this month, welcome it with a good welcome and not to allow anyone or anything to preoccupy them from the goodness that this blessed m onth entails. Especially as they have (recently) encountered great difficulties that Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالى) decreed upon them. Their masājid have now been (re-)opened and goodness has returned to them so it is upon them to devote their attention to making the most of this opportunity, to utilise the days and the nights in the obedience of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالى) ______________________________ [1] Narrated by Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) in AlBukhari (6). The exact wording: [كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَجْوَدَ النَّاسِ، وَكَانَ أَجْوَدُ مَا يَكُونُ فِي رَمَضَانَ] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was the most generous of people and he was most generous in Ramadan. [2] Narrated by Abu Hurriera (may Allah be pleased with him) in AlBukhari (2363) and Muslim (2244) [3] Narrated by Abu Hurriera (may Allah be pleased with him) in AlBukhaari (37) and Muslim (759) [4] Narrated by Abu Thaar (may Allah be pleased with him) in At-Tirmithi (806). 💠💠💠 💠💠 💠 #Ramadan بســـم اللــه الرحــمــن الـرحـــيــم ◾ The mindset, preparation and practices of The Salaf during Ramadan ◾ Our Shaykh Abu Bilaal Al-Hadhramy- may Allah preserve him- was asked the following question on 30th Sha'baan 1441( 23rd April 2020): 📝🔹Question: The Questioner says: How did The Salaf used to prepare for the month of Ramadan? 📩🔸Answer: First of all, they would be overjoyed by its arrival and rejoice at it. (1. Supplication) They would spend six months asking Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالى) to allow them to reach Ramadan and if they fasted Ramadan; they would spend (the next) six months asking Allah to accept it from them. It has indeed been reported that Yahya ibn Abee Kathir - may Allah have mercy upon him - used to say: "اللهم سلِّمنا لرمضان وسلِّم رمضان لنا" "Oh Allah; deliver us to Ramadan and deliver Ramadan to us." It is a month of sweet scented blessings, a month of forgiveness of sins and a month of goodness - all of it. (2. Recitation of The Qur’ān) So there is no doubt that it is a bringer of joy and The Salaf were certainly overjoyed with it. From their overjoyment, they would recite the book of Allah more in it than outside of it. In fact; it was mentioned regarding Sufyān At-Thawree - may Allah have mercy upon him - that when Ramadan entered he would leave all actions and devote his (complete) attention to The Qur’ān. Similarly, it was also reported that Imam Malik - may Allah have mercy upon him - despite his deep love for narrating hadith and hadith in general; once Ramadan had entered he devoted his (complete) attention to The Qur’ān and stopped narrating hadith, this was his preparation. (3. Sitting in the masjid) Whatsmore, they would sit in the masājid more, so as not to tarnish their fasting, for indeed there is no doubt that sitting in the masjid whilst fasting helps with fasting itself, leaving idle talk, sexual activity and anything else that may endanger the completeness of the fast. (4. Spending in charity) Also amongst their preparation and actions during Ramadan; the great amount they would spend in charity during this month, following the example of the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ was the most generous of people and he was most generous during Ramadan. [1] It has indeed been reported that Hamād Ibn Abee Sulaimān - may Allah have mercy upon him - during Ramadan used to provide iftār for five hundred muslims - this is something tremendous; hoping for the reward and return of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالى) by providing iftār for the fasting person. This is from the actions of the Salaf; concern for providing iftār for the fasting people and within it is great reward. In (the good treatment of) every moist liver (i.e. living being) is a reward. So this is some of what The Salaf used to do in preparation for Ramadan as well as their actions in this blessed month. As for the state of many of the people; it is contrary to this - except whom Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالى) has had mercy upon. So you find their preparation for Ramadan a shallow preparation; a preparation of food and drink. And you find in them weakness in the aspect of standing (in prayer), worship and recitation (of the Qur’ān) in Ramadan. As for our Salaf; they prepared for it with obedience, worship and whatever else aided them upon fulfilling what Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالى) intended to be fulfilled within this blessed month. (5. The Night Prayer) The Prophet ﷺ said: [مَنْ قَامَ رَمَضَانَ - إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا  - غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ ".] Whoever stands (in prayer) in Ramadan out of faith and seeking the reward; he will be forgiven for his past sins. [3] Likewise, he also said: If a man prays with the Imam until he departs; (the reward of) standing the entire night (in prayer) is written for him. [4]

بــســـم الــلــه الــرحــمــن الــرحـــيــم ◾️ Is LGBTQ allowed in islaam? ◾️ Shaykh Abu Muhammad 'AbdulHameed Az-Zu'kari - may Allah preserve him - was asked the following question: 📝 QUESTION: The Questioner says, in America there is a group of Muslims that are Claiming that Allāh has created them as Mithliyeen (Homosexuals who permit getting married to the same gender), so is it possible for Muslims to become Mithliyeen? 📩 ANSWER: Allāh 'Aza wajalla has created mankind upon the fitrah (Natural disposition) but it is Satan who turns them away from the right religion and he makes for them unlawful what has been declared lawful, and lawful what has been declared unlawful, including homosexuality and fornication and other than that from the sins. So if a person does these sins claiming them to be permissible, this makes them a disbeliever. And the claim of the Mithliyeen is exactly this; they say Homosexuality is allowed. Likewise, they permit Gay Marriage and the acts that follow from that. Therefore, whoever believes that Gay Marriage is Allowed (In Islaam), or gets married to the same gender, they have indeed left the fold of Islam and have become a disbeliever, due to him making these actions halaal (permissable). And there has never been a scholar from the Muslims, past or present, who permitted this - and Allāh's aid is sought-. This evil ideology needs to be fought against severely by the Muslims generally and by the Salafees specifically; because they are the ones who command good and forbid evil, and they are the ones who safeguard Allāh's limits. As for other than them, - we ask Allāh for safety- they are driven by politics, so they are used as puppets by these people. _ Translated by: Abu Abdurahmaan Muhammad shareef Al-Ahdal Channel link: https://t.me/abdulhamid12 Original Fatwa: https://t.me/A_lzoukory/60524

*The Souls of the Believers at the Time of Death* It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When the believer is dying, the angels of mercy come to him with white silk and say: ‘Come out content and with the pleasure of Allaah upon you to the mercy of Allaah, fragrance and a Lord Who is not angry.’ So it comes out like the best fragrance of musk. They pass him from one to another until they bring him to the gate of heaven, where they say: ‘How good is this fragrance that has come to you from the earth!’ Then the souls of the believers come to him and they rejoice more over him than any one of you rejoices when his absent loved one comes to him. They ask him: ‘What happened to So and so, what happened to So and so?’ They say: ‘Let him be, for he was in the hardship of the world. When he says, ‘Did he not come here?’ They say: ‘He was taken to the pit (of Hell).’ When the kaafir is dying, the angers of punishment come to him with sackcloth and say: ‘Come out discontent and subject to divine wrath to the punishment of Allaah. So it comes out like the foulest stench of a corpse. They bring him to the gates of the earth, where they say: ‘How foul is this stench!’ Then they bring him to the souls of the kuffaar.” *[Narrated by al-Nasaa’i, 1833; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 2758]* Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said: "Souls are of two types: those that are punished and those that are blessed. Those that are punished are too preoccupied with the torment that they are facing to visit and meet one another, but the souls that are blessed are free and are not detained, so they meet one another, visit one another and talk about what they used to do in this world and what happened to the people of this world. So each soul will be with its friends who did similar good deeds. The soul of our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is with the highest companions. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And whoso obey Allaah and the Messenger (Muhammad), then they will be in the company of those on whom Allaah has bestowed His Grace, of the Prophets, the Siddeeqoon (those followers of the Prophets who were first and foremost to believe in them, like Abu Bakr As‑Siddeeq), the martyrs, and the righteous. And how excellent these companions are!” [al-Nisa’ 4:69] This togetherness is confirmed in this world, in al-Barzakh and in the abode of reward (Paradise), and “A man will be with those whom he loves” in these three realms… Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “(It will be said to the pious — believers of Islamic Monotheism): ‘O (you) the one in (complete) rest and satisfaction! 28. ‘Come back to your Lord,— well‑pleased (yourself) and well‑pleasing (unto Him)! 29. ‘Enter you then among My (honoured) slaves, 30. ‘And enter you My Paradise!’” [al-Fajr 89:27-30] i.e., enter among them and be one of them. This is said to the soul at the time of death… And Allaah has told us that the martyrs are: “are alive, with their Lord, and they have provision” [Aal ‘Imraan 3:169]; they “rejoice for the sake of those who have not yet joined them, but are left behind” [Aal ‘Imraan 3:170] and “They rejoice in a grace and a bounty from Allaah” [Aal ‘Imraan 3:171]. This indicates that they will meet one another in three ways: (1) they are with their Lord and are given provision, and if they are alive then they meet one another; (2) they rejoice at the arrival of their brothers and their meeting with them; and (3) the word yastabshiroon (translated as “rejoice”) implies that they pass the good news to one another." *📗[Al-Rooh, p. 17, 18]* t.me/striving4firdaws

ayer. This has not occurred except to show its importance and as an indication of this matter (i.e. that whoever abandons the prayer is a disbeliever). ____ Translated by: Abu Sufyaan Saami Al-Ghaani Click on the link to subscribe: https://t.me/abubilaalalhadhramy Original fatwa: https://t.me/abubilalhami/2629

بســـم اللــه الرحــمــن الـرحـــيــم ▪️Is the one who abandons the prayer a disbeliever and will he be in the hellfire forever?▪️ Our Shaykh Abu Bilaal Al-hadhramy-may Allah preserve him- was asked the following question: 📝🔹Question: Will he who abandons the prayer remain in the Hell-Fire eternally if he abandons it whilst believing it to be obligatory and only abandons it due to negligence? 📩🔸Answer: Yes, based upon the view that he is a disbeliever. (The Prophet ﷺ said) "The Pact that is between us and them is the prayer; so whoever abandons it has certainly disdelieved' (Narrated by Buraida ibn Husaib may Allah be pleased with him in At-Tirmirdhi, An-Nisaaii and Ibn Majah) "Between a man and between shirk and kufar is abandoning the prayer" (Narrated by Jaabir-may Allah be pleased with him- in Muslim) Thus, there is no doubt that he will remain in the fire eternally. This is what we believe regarding he who abandons the prayer and does not prostrate to Allah a single prostration or offer to him a single bow; he who abandons the prayer completely, whereby it is not known whether he offers a single prayer. These proofs clearly indicate that he is a disbeliever so there must be no uproar regarding this. We say, based upon the compelling proofs; whoever dies as a disbeliever will remain in the Hell-Fire for eternity. These proofs indicate this clearly and also indicate that there is no intercession for the abandoner of the prayer, so there is no difficulty in (reaching this) viewpoint due to the aforementioned evidences. However, based upon the opinion that he is not a disbeliever; then he will not remain in the Hell-Fire forever, because he is from the sinful and rebellious muslims, this is as long as he does not reject its authenticity and obligation. In this case he is a sinful and rebellious muslim that has exposed himself to the punishment of Allah. The scholars past and present have differed in this issue. However the correct viewpoint is that whoever abandons the prayer (completely) has disbelieved in Allah due to the consensus of the companions of The Prophet ﷺ, "They did not view the leaving of anything as an act of disbelief except the prayer" (Narrated by Abdullah Ibn Shaqeeq in At-Tirmidhi), In addition to the two aforementioned ahaadeth. There are also other proofs that suggest that the abandoner of the prayer is a disbeliever. General proofs such as the hadith of Hudayfa-may alkah be pleased with him- that we recently came across in (our lesson of ) Saheehul Bukhaari: (Hudayfa - may Allah be pleased with him - said to a man who had not completed his bowing during the prayer) "..if you die (upon this prayer) you have died upon other than Islam." The scholars understood from this; if the one who prays however has not perfected his prayer, will die upon other than Islam, so how about he who has abandoned the prayer completely? When he dies he will die upon other than the religion of Islam with more right; thus he is a disbeliever. What kind of Islam does he, who has abandoned the prayer have? He has nothing from Islam. This is the only pillar that a Muslim if he abandons, disbelieves by way of that. As for the remaining pillars; such as Hajj and other than it; a person does not become a disbeliever by abandoning it - except if he rejects its authenticity and obligation. We therefore do not have a pillar from the acts of worship, that a person becomes a disbeliever by abandoning it except the prayer. As for the remaining pillars, a person is sinful by abandoning it. The person who does not perform hajj whilst he is capable, is a sinner and not a disbeliever. The person who does not fast (the month of) ramadan whilst he is capable and has reached the age of accountability, is a sinner and not a disbeliever. As for he who has abandoned the prayer, he is a disbeliever based upon the clear and authentic proofs that have come declaring him to be a disbeliever. Why have (these proofs) not come for fasting or for hajj?. They have not come clear as they have come regarding the pr

*Did Not Make up Missed Fasts Before Ramadan Arrived* *Question:* If a man still had some days to make up from the month of Ramadan and he did not make them up before the start of the next Ramadan, what should he do? *Answer:* It is well known that Allaah, the Most Glorified, the Most High says: ((So whoever of you sights (the crescent on the first night of) the month (of Ramadân i.e. is present at his home), he must observe Saum (fasts) that month, and whoever is ill or on a journey, the same number [of days which one did not observe Saum (fasts) must be made up] from other days.)) [Al-Baqarah 2:185] So, this man, who broke his fast for some valid legal reason, is obliged to make up for it, in obedience to the Command of Allaah, the Most Glorified, the Most High. He must make it up in that year, and he should not delay it until after the following Ramadan. ‘Aishah, may Allaah be pleased with her, said: ”I had days to make up from Ramadan, and I was unable to make them up until Sha’ban (i.e. the month before the following Ramadan).” [Bukhari,(1950)] This is due to the Messenger of Allaah’s relationship with her, so her saying ’I was unable to make them up until Sha’ban’ is a proof that they must be made up for before the start of the next Ramadan. But if he delayed it after the following Ramadan, he should seek forgiveness from Allaah and repent to Him, and be remorseful for what he has done, and make up for these days. The obligation to make it up for is not removed merely because it has been delayed, so he should make up for these days even if it was after the next Ramadan. And Allaah is the Granter of Success. 📕Shaykh Muhammad bin Saalih al-Uthaymeen Fatawa Arkaanul-Islaam, DARUSSALAM, Vol.2, P.673.
