Hello guys, as you might know we've been inactive for many many long weeks. So i just wanted to let you all know that we are going to be closed for now. Hey all! As you can see on social media, NASA scientists found that the earth only has 3-5 years to live due to Global Warming. Imagine, only 3 more years! If you want the life span of the earth to increase, let's start doing some small things that have a huge impact on our earth, as follows: 1. Don't eat chewing gum! You may think that chewing gum is environmentally friendly, but it is actually made of synthetic rubber, namely plastic. About 100,000 tons of this plastic are thrown away every year, and a lot of it ends up on our streets. Next time you need fresh breath, brush your teeth instead of chewing on a piece of plastic. 2. Don't use plastic straws! Plastic straws contribute a lot to plastic waste in our oceans. Next time you go to a bar or restaurant, be sure to say no to straws, and even encourage them to stop using them altogether. If you must use them, buy eco-friendly ones that are reusable. You can buy bamboo, metal and glass straws online which you can wash and use instead of always buying plastic ones. 3. Delete the notification email in your Gmail/Mail! That email turns into a considerable source of carbon emissions. Who would have thought that? In fact there have been estimates made by several large organizations that concluded that email is polluting our planet. 4. Use Ecosia instead of Google, Safari, Chrome, etc. Every time you search on Ecosia, it means that you have planted 1 tree! Ecosia has also signed a contract that the money generated from advertising is fully used for tree planting. Come on, switch to Ecosia! 5. Share this message! The more people know about Earth Day and your efforts to help reduce environmental damage, the sooner important issues like plastic pollution will be addressed. @.scabils
