Basically Unitree is IPO'ing in China next week and is drawing a lot of attention back to robotics again as it is set to be the largest public humanoid company available when it launches. It is already trading at over 4x it's IPO price on Hyperliquid pre-markets for 35-40B market cap (which is too much imo but demonstrates the hype for it)

VIRTUAL price is already up 10% today but is still not that far off the lows and could have room to run into the Unitree IPO on August 19th as one of the only appealing narratives right now (robotics) in a landscape starved of good narratives. I wouldn't be surprised to see it go to 0.7-0.8 range although it is not very high conviction for me in this market environment either. Pretty easy to invalidate if it can't sustain momentum into next week right ahead of the IPO. | 1 163 |
