Acts of sexual immorality in the Bible often translate as porneia; a Greek word that also means prostitution, whoredom, and fornication. Notice that the meaning of the word did not directly translate as adultery as it is not limited to it. Any sexual activity that goes against God’s standard written in the Bible is considered as sexual immorality. Also, the Bible warns us about sexual immorality in several verses. However, people today have been desensitized to the idea of casual sex or not giving enough divine consideration about it. We have become deaf to God’s words, which is actually for our own good both physically and spiritually.
