Dear RCY Alumni, Thank you for your continuous support for our RCY endeavours! As part of the alumni, you’re given early access to order our DIY snow globe kits! NUS RCY plans to sell snow globes and fundraise through an idea called “Buy 1, Gift 1”. For every DIY snow globe kits purchased, NUS RCY pledges to donate 1 snow globe to Young Hearts—our main beneficiary for this event. Young Hearts is a Red Cross extra-curricular and enrichment programme for children and they will be the ones receiving the donated snow globes from your snow globe purchase! In conjunction with NUS Cares Annual Christmas Celebration ❤️, NUS RCY will be holding a fundraiser (@rcynusfundraising). ☃️ For every Christmas snow globe you purchase, NUS RCY will donate another to our beneficiaries.☃️ Proceeds from the fundraiser will also be used to purchase basic necessities for our beneficiaries. 🛍 And the fun doesn't stop at our fundraiser! You can also look forward to musical performances, Christmas goodies, and other crafts and gifts at the event. 😉 Join us in the spirit of giving from 8 to 10 December at the NUS Shaw Foundation Alumni House! 🎁 The event will be open to NUS students and staff only on 8 December (2pm to 7pm) and members of the public are welcomed to partake in our cause from 9 to 10 December (11am to 7pm). 🎄

Dear Chapter Leaders, Red Cross Youth will be facilitating the Humanitarian Trail for participants of OBS programme at the Red Cross Training Campsite, weekly for the year of 2023. We require volunteers who are available on Tuesdays afternoon and Thursdays morning to support the conduct of activities. If you know of anyone who is keen, please direct them to pm @m3ngk3 for more information. I will be happy to conduct multiple sessions of facilitator training at the Campsite for the remainder of this year, at your convenience.

Dear Chapter Leaders, On the 27th November, one of our 3rd party fundraisers is having a Christmas market event. https://www.instagram.com/peace.of.art.sg/ SRC Resource Development (RD) together with volunteers will be on the ground to help with the Christmas market. However, we are also looking for 2 Ladies to take up the role as Santarinas', a Christmas Mascot. While we are in the midst of looking for volunteers who might be interested in taking up this role during the event, may I seek your help to see if there are any interested volunteers you may have on your end? More details on the role: Costume will be provided by the organizer Costume size is in 'M' size https://postimg.cc/753tbMHb Santarinas will be giving out candies and gifts during the event Santarinas will be taking pictures with guests during the event. While most of our volunteers will come in at 7am until 8pm for set up, event support and tear down, the Santarinas can come in at 10am until 6pm tentatively. It would be great if they could stay to help us out with tearing down after finishing the mascot role. Do let me know if you know of any pax who is keen.
