According to media reports, the incident took place at a refugee center. Police were called there following reports of vandalism and knife threats.
While officers were detaining a suspect, a woman believed to be his wife approached them. She was then thrown to the ground.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident.

VPN service featured in almost every major Europol-supported cybercrime investigation
A VPN service used by cybercriminals to conceal ransomware attacks, data theft, and other serious offences has been dismantled in an international operation led by France and the Netherlands, with support from Europol and Eurojust.
For years, the service, known as ‘First VPN’, was promoted on Russian-speaking cybercrime forums as a trusted tool for remaining beyond the reach of law enforcement. It offered users anonymous payments, hidden infrastructure, and services designed specifically for criminal use.
‘First VPN’ had become deeply embedded in the cybercrime ecosystem, appearing in almost every major cybercrime investigation supported by Europol in recent years.
Criminals used it to conceal their identities and infrastructure while carrying out ransomware attacks, large-scale fraud, data theft, and other serious offences.
The coordinated action took place between 19 and 20 May and targeted the infrastructure behind one of the most widely used VPN services in the cybercrime underground.
During the action days, authorities:
🟠Interviewed the administrator and conducted a house search in Ukraine
🟠 Dismantled 33 servers linked to the criminal service
🟠Disrupted infrastructure used to support cybercriminal activity worldwide.
The target domain names have been shut down thanks to the joint international law enforcement and judicial cooperation with the following domain names seized:

Users of the criminal service have been notified of the shutdown and informed that they have been identified.

🇳🇱 Netherlands: Extra tax on petrol and diesel business cars for employees
From the “How-Can-They-F#ck-Us-Over-Even-More Department”
What changes?
Do you offer an employee a business car? For example a lease car or a car from you own fleet? And does your employee also use the car privately or to commute to work? From 1 January 2027, you will pay extra tax on business cars that are not completely emission-free. Such as petrol, diesel, or hybrid vehicles.
The tax is:
🟠 12% of the car’s list price for cars up to 25 years old
🟠12% of the market value for cars more than 25 years old
You pay the tax via your payroll taxes (pseudeo final levy). You may not pass this tax on to your employee. The purpose of the tax is to encourage employers to offer only zero-emission business cars to their employees, such as electric cars.
Transitional period
A transitional period applies for petrol, diesel, or hybrid cars you offer employees before 1 January 2027. The extra tax will apply to these cars from 1 July 2030.
For whom?
Entrepreneurs who offer their employees lease cars or business cars from their own fleet that these employees also use privately or or for their commute.
When?
The change will enter into effect on 1 January 2027.

Good news! Because Europe has some more ideas in terms of safety.
From July 2026, every new car sold in Europe must be equipped with ADDW (Advanced Driver Distraction Warning): a camera in the interior that continuously monitors your face.
In addition to a camera in the interior, Europe requires another gadget. From July, every new car and truck will have to be equipped with a brake light system that flashes in extreme braking situations.
So not only the warning lights (four indicators) come on during an abrupt braking maneuver, but also the brake lights will flash while breaking hard.

France’s Digital ID System Hacked—Sensitive Data of 19 Million Citizens Now Sold on the Dark Web
France’s centralized digital identity platform, operated by France Titres (formerly ANTS), suffered a major breach on April 15, 2026.
Hackers stole records affecting roughly one-third of the French population and started auctioning them on dark web forums.
The exposed database contains:
• Full names
• Email addresses and phone numbers
• Dates and places of birth
• Postal addresses
• Unique government account IDs
This information gives criminals powerful tools for identity theft, phishing campaigns, synthetic identities, and large-scale financial fraud.
The system manages passports, national ID cards, driver’s licenses, residency permits, and vehicle registrations.

🇳🇱 Mayor of Stadskanaal calls for calm after serious child abuse and destruction
Mayor Klaas Sloots of Stadskanaal has made an urgent appeal to the residents of the municipality in response to recent events.
Two mothers from Stadskanaal are suspected of having seriously abused their children, a 6-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy.
The suspects are friends of each other. Files from the Child Protection Board show that the girl was locked in the basement and forced to eat her own vomit. The abuses were filmed.
Following these facts, the children were removed from their mothers for safety and are currently being well cared for. Both mothers have been suspended from parental authority.

The protesters then blocked the road for the firefighters to make it impossible for them to put out the fire. 🏆
After a fake asylum seeker flashed a throat-cutting gesture, local Dutch people threw flares at the asylum center in Loosdrecht, the Netherlands.
