Form figures of 432321123 on the all weather compared with 8356543 on turf in handicaps seem to show a preference for an artificial surface and narrowing those initial numbers down to 32113 with races solely run here starts to look even more attractive.
Those wins came in a Class 6 and then a Class 5 off marks of 63 then subsequently 67 with us racing off 64 tonight back down into a Class 6. Stall ten isn’t ideal but he’s tactically versatile and I’d have him a few points lower in the betting. | 145 |

Very exposed in the terms of this field but with Cavalo Nero drawn in eleven, up two classes and 5lb to boot sitting favourite it does look worth taking him on.
Two Tempting is 2lb higher than for his last win which came over course and distance off a mark of 96. He’s carrying 9’12” as he did there and from stall six, as he did there, that win came about a second quicker than any other track and trip form in the field. He’s had two runs back from a break with his latest at Chester very encouraging and even if he doesn’t quite do it here I’m not prepared to let him go unbacked at a double figure price. | 178 |

The all-weather season has always been my favourite from a punting point of view with less fixtures and largely bigger fields so this seems a good of a time as any to get going again.

A bet last time out when disappointing at Chepstow which seemingly proved he’s not that happy on softer ground but he’s been dropped another 2lb for that so now goes off his last winning mark of 57.
He’s a former course and distance winner, albeit off 6lb lower, who also ran to a RPR of 61 here in May. A repeat of that performance would see him go close in a weak enough race with the first time blinkers on to aid that. Would be a 13/2 shot in my book. | 273 |
