🥂 Wappu Picnic Tomorrow! 🥂 Come and join us at Suolijärvi for INTO's traditional Wappu Picnic tomorrow! The event starts at 17:00 and lasts until 21:00. As traditional as the picnic, we are expecting a wappu weather with temperatures around +3 and a small chance of drizzle during the night. Fear not, as we are prepared with a tent, music and grills to provide the vibes and warm snacks to attendees. There will also be an option to grill your own snacks! Dress up warm, bring enough drinks and snacks for yourself and pack something to sit on instead of the cold damp ground. General Meeting Decisions INTO's Spring General Meeting concluded yesterday, here is a summary of the decisions: - Agenda and Action plan for 2024-25 were accepted according to the proposal - Membership fee was set to 2€ annually and support membership fee was set to 5€ annually (both were 0€, first time sign up fee is unaffected) and membership database was decided to be moved to kide.app (members will be notified once changes are implemented) - Board liabilities were discussed, due to the annual reports being work in progress the points were moved to the next meeting - Auditors and their deputies for 2024-25 were elected as follows: Ester Väisänen (deputy: Lauri Ahlqvist) David McKee (deputy: Lassi Raami) - INTO's Board for 2024-25 was elected: Chairperson: Pyry Severi Lehtinen Vice Chairperson: Renganayaki Venkatakrishnan Events Coordinator: Talha Bin Shoukat Head of Communications: Daniel López Mängel Head of Corporate relations: Pyry Juhani Laine Host: Jenni Leppänen Secretary: Titta Maria Pietikäinen Starter kit Responsible: Ali Tayyib Göktaş Symposium Responsible: Ruchira Liyanage Teekkari Culture Responsible: Ville Jooseppi Musku Treasurer: Syed Ammar Shah Congratulations to the elected board members! 🥂 The newly elected board and auditors as well as accepted action plan and budget will take effect on 01.06.2024.
