The racketeering indictment unsealed against Sean Combs today describes Combs as having set up and operated a huge, multi-faceted criminal enterprise that provided him victims, money, protected his reputation, concealed his behaviors, and enhanced his global brand. The indictment states that Combs and associates participated in multiple acts of kidnapping, arson, bribery, witness tampering, forced labor, sex trafficking, transport of a prostitute, illegal sex acts, narcotics offenses, and of course conspiracy to do the above. Prosecutors say Combs had a "persistent and pervasive pattern of abuse toward women and other individuals" and that he forced people into sex work, drugging them, threatening their finances, their careers, and using violence if need be in order to "ensure participation."
