So my wife and I are in an AirBnB with all of our possessions - until Monday, when we have to check out at 10am. (a betrayal saw us suddenly homeless and without a vehicle as of last Friday) We are not sure what happens after that, but we're being taken in by the farmers we're here to help. They're going to provide a home and even a vehicle for us to drive - we just have to get to them. We were able to drive 15-hours West from Sydney to Adelaide (by towing a trailer for a company and packing all our stuff in the back of the truck we towed the trailer with, and storing the rest in that company's warehouse), but now we need to get all our packed belongings from the AirBnB in Adelaide another 2-hours West to the Yorke Peninsula... There, we will begin the journey we are here for! We will then be living and working with large-scale farmers who want to become regenerative - documenting their transition! My wife and I have only enough to survive, and that was gifted to us by kind individuals we've met on this path (THANK YOU to each of you, even if you can only send prayers). Each step, we know we may not get what we want, but we will always have what we need. Many of us are experiencing these kind of extreme life events - but we will HOLD THE LINE.
