| 5 | Creating Inter-generational Bonding
As you might have observed, young children and school-going teenagers are increasingly becoming disconnected from their elders across generations. In some cases, this has resulted in a lack of respect towards parents and grandparents, leading to inappropriate behaviour and even violence.
In order to foster inter-generational bonding between youngsters and their elders, the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, has decided to implement a project in partnership with Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi.
In connection with this project, students of the General Library, Vivekananda Reading Room, and all batches of the Computer Training Centre are required to attend the meeting.
A meeting in this connection will be held on Tuesday, 1 September 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at our Sarada Auditorium. The meeting will be attended by Dr. Virendra Kumar, Honβble Cabinet Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, along with Shri Ramdas Athawale and Shri B. L. Verma, Ministers of State, besides several senior officials.
The Ministry has desired a good attendance from Ramakrishna Mission.
In view of the above, all concerned students are requested to have lunch prasad at 12:00 noon and assemble at Swami Vivekananda Auditorium by 12:45 p.m. to attend the meeting.
Attendance is compulsory for all the above-mentioned students.
