Starting from 1st July 2023, the WSS Scheme will undergo the following Enhancements :- 1. Lowering of eligibility age threshold from 35 years old to *30 years old*. 2. Increase of qualifying income cap from $2,300/month to *$2,500/month* 3. Training Commitment Award (TCA) for all qualifying trainees is *$100 for 2 SOAs, up to $200/year* 。 4. Increase of *Training Committment Award(TCA) Full Qualifications FQ) from $500 to $800* 5. Training Allowance (TA) for self-sponsored trainees as *$6/hr* capped to 180hrs /year per WSS eligibility period( For selected courses only). 6. Introduction of hourly Absentee Payroll (AP) cap of *$13/hr (95%of hourly basic salary)* , this is for company sponsored only. Please note that there is an overall TCA cap to $1000 per WSS eligible year.
