How many times have you heard the government dress something dystopian up as convenience or some other noble cause (crime prevention etc)? These schemes ALWAYS end up with government overreach! So if you've got a chip implanted in your wrist, you don't have to remember your wallet as you can pay that way. Brilliant....until the government can also track you and either approve or decline any of your purchases! š¤¬ A few years back, CCTV was dressed up as being able to crack down on anti social behaviour. What else was it used for? I kid you not (repeat, this is NOT a joke) - they used this to fine people for putting their bins out a day early! š¤¬
