The Iris Nebula is located 1,400 lightyears away in the Cepheus constellation. This floral cloud of cosmic dust and gas is a reflection nebula, meaning it glows due to the scattering of the light from its central star.
The Iris Nebula is also known as Caldwell 4 - a member of the Caldwell Catalog compiled by Sir Patrick Moore - and NGC 7023.
The petal-like structure that gives the Iris Nebula its nickname is 6 lightyears in diameter.
What's also striking about pictures of the Iris Nebula is that it appears surrounded by dark regions of cosmic dust, yet its central star makes the the nebula glow brightly through the dust, just like petals blooming from within the depths of the cosmos.

I added about 3 more hours of data to the Helix Nebula last night. More visible nebulosity around the top and bottom.
The Helix Nebula (NGC 7293) is a bright, large planetary nebula located 650 light years from Earth in the constellation Aquarius. It is one of the closest planetary nebulae to Earth, as well as one of the brightest. With an apparent magnitude of 7.6 and an apparent size of 25 arcminutes, the nebula is visible in binoculars and easily observed in small telescopes in good conditions. Its striking appearance has earned it the nickname the Eye of God Nebula.
Lynds Dark Nebula 1251
Stars are forming in Lynds Dark Nebula (LDN) 1251. About 1,000 light-years away and drifting above the plane of our Milky Way galaxy, the dusty molecular cloud is part of a complex of dark nebulae mapped toward the Cepheus flare region. Across the spectrum, astronomical explorations of the obscuring interstellar clouds reveal energetic shocks and outflows associated with newborn stars, including a telltale reddish glow from scattered Herbig-Haro objects. Distant background galaxies also lurk on the scene, visually buried behind the dusty expanse.

The Cave Nebula (Sh2-155) lies at distance of 2,400 light-years in the constellation Cepheus. It is a large star-forming cloud of molecular hydrogen spanning approximately 10 light-years. Hot class O and B blue supergiant stars to the upper right of the image are ionizing the cloud's hydrogen gas, causing it to glow at the hydrogen-alpha wavelength of 656.28 nanometers. As their intense light evaporates gas from the cloud surface, it becomes ionized and the fierce stellar winds emitted by those stars blow it back against the cloud, forming a glowing, compressed rim. This pressure also triggers formation of more stars within the cloud.

The Omega Nebula, also known as Messier 17 (M17), is a bright emission nebula located in Sagittarius constellation. It was named Omega for its resemblance to the Greek letter omega, Ω.
The nebula has the designation NGC 6618 in the New General Catalogue. It is also known as the Swan Nebula, Horseshoe Nebula, Lobster Nebula, or Checkmark Nebula.
Messier 17 is a star forming region with an open cluster, and it is part of a larger cloud of molecular gas found in the direction of Sagittarius.
The Dumbbell Nebula spans about 2.5 light-years across and gets its name from its unique double-lobed shape, resembling a dumbbell or an hourglass.
The nebula is the remnants of a low-to-intermediate-mass star that has shed its outer layers towards the end of its life, leaving behind a hot, white dwarf star in the center. The gas illuminated by this central star creates the vibrant, glowing appearance of M27.

I was late on the Buck moon but I did capture this 2 nights ago.. It's been so long since I've imaged the moon, I forgot my planetary workflow haha. If I get another chance tonight in between clouds and fog, I think I know how to get it all in frame again 🤦♂️
WR 134 is a variable Wolf-Rayet star located around 6,000 light years away from Earth in the constellation of Cygnus, surrounded by a faint bubble nebula blown by the intense radiation and fast wind from the star. It is five times the radius of the sun, but due to a temperature over 63,000 K it is 400,000 times as luminous as the Sun.

Here is a short 45-minute live stack of the propeller nebula, DWB111.
DWB-111, the Propeller Nebula, is an emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus. Astronomers seem to have more questions than answers, regarding this nebula. The origin of the peculiar structure is still completely unknown. The nebula's distance and source of excitation are also undetermined. DWB-111 mass is believed to be quite low, probably less than 50 solar masses. Obscuring dust is closely associated with the nebula, but seems to occur mostly in front of it.

These three bright nebulae are often featured on telescopic tours of the constellation Sagittarius and the crowded starfields of the central Milky Way. In fact, 18th century cosmic tourist Charles Messier cataloged two of them; M8, the large nebula above and left of center, and colorful M20 near the bottom of the frame. The third emission region includes NGC 6559, right of M8 and separated from the larger nebula by a dark dust lane. All three are stellar nurseries about five thousand light-years or so distant. Over a hundred light-years across the expansive M8 is also known as the Lagoon Nebula. M20's popular moniker is the Trifid. Glowing hydrogen gas creates the dominant red color of the emission nebulae. In striking contrast, blue hues in the Trifid are due to dust reflected starlight.
