💡 The most common structural differences between English and Persian: 1. Usually, there are more passive verbs than active verbs in the English texts. As a translator, one of the most important things that you have to do is to reduce passive verbs and shift from passive verbs to active verbs. ✏️For example: When I arrived at the university, I realized that Mr. Jackman's car has been parked in a different place. ✅وقتی به دانشگاه رسیدم، متوجه شدم که آقای جکمن ماشینش را در جای متفاوتی پارک کرده‌است. ❌وقتی به دانشگاه رسیدم، متوجه شدم که ماشین آقای جکمن در جای متفاوتی پارک شده‌است. 2. The length of sentences are different, too. In English, most of the time, there is one single but long sentence however in Persian we have a lot of small sentences. Here, the translator should break the long English sentence and rewrite it as some small Persian sentences, so we can call him/her skillful. ✏️For example: The trial begins today of a man who has been charged with murdering a young woman last November on fifth Avenue when trying to rob her of money she had just taken from a nearby bank where she worked as cashier. ✅امروز محاکمه مردی که در نوامبر سال گذشته به قتل زن جوانی متهم شده است، آغاز می‌شود. آن زن صندوقدار بود و از بانکی در خیابان پنجم در نزدیکی محل کارش مبلغی پول برداشت کرده‌بود که این مرد قصد سرقت آن را داشت. ❌محاکمه مردی که به قتل یک زن جوان در نوامبر گذشته در خیابان پنجم متهم شده است هنگامی که قصد داشت پولی را که او به تازگی از بانکی در همان نزدیکی که به عنوان صندوقدار کار می کرد گرفته بود، سرقت کند،امروز آغاز می شود. 🚨These points should be taken in the translation process, but the most important thing is to transfer the meaning correctly.
