Hi
Best wishes for AFM exams!
Please understand this, Paper Easy means tough or moderate checking and paper hard means easy or moderate checking with bonus marks to all!
So, donβt get affected by this at all. Even in the tough paper, there will be sums which you can crack, so do concentrate on that.
Paper is the same for all and your target is to be in the top 10-15% to qualify for exams.
Mentality management and your attitude in 3.15 Hours is important and it is deciding factor.
You will find a few papers as tough, ICAI does set them like this way just to test that can future CAs have the ability to handle tough situations.

3 hours attempt common tip
One more tip I can give which helped me, but don't know how others will take it. It is bit peculiar tip.
The 3.15 hr of exams is not less than a battle.
Whenever I used to give exams I had the mindset of a person whom I admire a lot, it is like I used to assumed I am that person.
Like I did an extensive study about Maharana Pratap, many times visited places where he lived. So I have a mental image of him when he used to go to war. He is like someone who faced many difficulties & Problems still won. The same goes for Chatrapati Shivaji.
All I did is assume I am Pratap for 3.15hr & only this thought filled me with energy & confidence. I got an unbeatable focus. You can do the same, use my ideal or replace it with your ideal or just ignore it π
Best wishes

Some Last Minute Tips before 1st Paper
1. Don't forget to bring your admit card, watch, calculator (if possible have two calculators) & other stationery, along with black pen. π€¦ββπ€¦
2. In your water bottle mix some glucose powder & lemon juice (π optional), believe me in the tense environment of exams, when you sip quick carbs like glucose it helps & relaxes you. π
3. Don't do last minute chatter with friends in the exam centre, either revise something or stay quiet π€«
4. Make sure to read my write up on how to attempt the paper in 3 hours link π
https://t.me/cafinal7/4938
5. Wear comfortable clothes. Don't try tight jeans or something which makes you more uncomfortable. π
6. Just be calm, relax your mind and let the thoughts flow. If your mind is not relaxed, your thoughts will go haywire and it will affect your attention in Exams. π
7. All the best. You can listen to your fav music just before the exam like I used to listen to All is well from 3 idiot movie πΆ
8. Donβt waste unnecessary time in making lines, tables, writing particulars etc. They carry no extra marks. Focus on speed. Your handwriting should be like the examiner can understand it. There is no necessity of like beautiful and very clean.
9. Attempt big questions like 10 or more than 10 marks in the last. Do attempt smaller once first.
10. Don't eat heavy before exams. Keep yourself light. Relieve yourself just before the exam so you don't need to go again in mid.
11. Listen to this just before exams π

And you all are warriors I am proud of you β€οΈπ

Don't get crazy behind mcqs
Doing 10-20 case scenario's are more than sufficient.
You don't need to revise them again!
You don't need mcq summary!
For extra practice, one can do more mcqs but most don't fall in this criteria where they done with few revisions of 70 part sums and need more to practice!
If your all over subject preparation is good, covered all things, practiced bare minimum mcqs. You are good to go.
You have limited time, dedicate it on area's which derive more value! Do smart study.
Must have a read π

AFM don't have any trend as such, all chapters are important. Can divide subject in 3 parts and study accordingly.
Have grip on all chapters but some chapters can be tagged as most favorite or important as per individual choice!
