Binance Cleaning House at Binance.US Looks like they’re removing 92 USDT market pairs if I eyeballed that correctly. Only 2 BUSD & 8 BTC market pairs removed. OTC trading for Binance.US has been paused indefinitely. https://support.binance.us/hc/en-us/articles/15133607064983-Binance-US-Will-Remove-Select-Trading-Pairs-Has-Paused-OTC-Trading

This is the Best Channel for Coverage of the Binance SEC Debacle Why? Because the owner of the channel uncovered all of the same links and information revealed in the SEC's complaint & subsequent court filings way back in 2019. Some examples include: 1. Revelations about Koi Trading - https://twitter.com/librehash/status/1172326278038355971?s=20 2. Revelations about Sigma Chain AG - https://twitter.com/librehash/status/1182135415224066051?s=20 3. Connecting Binance to Binance.US via Prime Trust (labeling the latter Trust company as a custodian for Binance; if you read the SEC's rationale behind their request for an injunction, then you likely noticed that this name was mentioned frequently) - https://twitter.com/librehash/status/1172326276989718530?s=20 Was also covered in CoinGeek (originally) for findings that I made related to these matters (back in 2019) here: https://coingeek.com/binance-and-huobi-have-the-same-owner/ So this is four years in the making. A lot of other folks are just getting up to speed on what's going on (U.S. federal+intelligence agencies too, to be honest).

Regarding SEC's Request to Freeze Binance.US Assets This filing is not asking the courts to stop Binance.US from operating. Let's be clear on that. So don't panic. You can find the court filing (by the SEC) making said request here: https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.dcd.256060/gov.uscourts.dcd.256060.4.0.pdf The filing is worded pretty strongly. "**The SEC respectfully submits that this relief is necessary on an expedited basis to ensure the safety of customer assets and prevent the dissipation of available assets for any judgment, given the Defendants' years of violative conduct, disregard of the laws of the United States, evasion of regulatory oversight, and open questions about various financial transfers and the custody and control of Customer Assets - including by Defendants who claim they are not subject to the Court's jurisdiction - as described in the Complaint, Memorandum of Law, and supporting materials.**" Essentially, the SEC is asking the courts to compel Binance.US to: 1. Divorce control of any and all crypto assets from Changpeng Zhao and affiliated, named 'entities' (companies that hold ownership over Binance.US) 2. Aggregate all funds that belong to customers or the platform and stuff them into designated addresses (also sharing said addresses w the SEC) 3. Provide accounting records for all customer accounts and funds for platform (pretty sure this includes crypto & fiat) The filing references an exhibit that has (what appears to be) Binance's wallet addresses for every cryptocurrency listed on their platform as well as all the bank accounts that they hold in the United States at various financial institutions.

SEC Seeking to Destroy Coinbase As stated earlier, Coinbase is effectively fighting for their lives against the SEC (if they plan on taking this to court). This is according to the plain text of the complaint filed by the SEC against Coinbase. 1. SEC is Looking for Billions of Dollars in Disgorgement - The complaint states, "Coinbase has earned billions of dollars in revenues by, among other things, collecting transaction fees from investors whom Coinbase has deprived of the disclosures and protections that registration entails and thus exposed to significant risk." Notably at the end of the complaint (page 100), the SEC asks the court to grant their request, "Ordering [Coinbase] to disgorge on a joint and several basis all ill-gotten gains resulting from their Exchange Act violations, and ordering Coinbase to disgorge all ill-gotten gains resulting from its Securities Act violations, with prejudgment interest thereon." 2. SEC is Looking to Kill Staking on Coinbase + the Offer of Securities - Complaint asks the court to grant the SEC's request, "permanently enjoining Coinbase and each of its respective agents, servants, employees, attorneys and other persons in active concert or participation with any of them, from violating, directly or indirectly, Sections 5(a), 5(c) of the Securities Act." In order to comply with this, Coinbase would have to cease their 'staking' platform/product and also de-list whatever crypto assets they have on their exchange that the SEC deems to be 'securities' at the time of writing. Doesn't really look like Coinbase has a winning hand in this situation. They took a gamble with the projects they listed on their platform and ended up paying the price ultimately. It seems that there was a ton of dialogue between Coinbase & the SEC before this complaint was ultimately filed. Remains to be seen what will happen from this point moving forward.

Coinbase Customers Might Have Hit Paydirt Okay, going to bring up the same piece of Coinbase's prospectus (S-1) that I did on March 23rd, 2023 here in this message: https://t.me/librehash/30067 In Coinbase's prospectus (S-1), they explicitly state: "We could be subject to judicial or administrative sanctions for...acting as a broker, dealer, or national securities exchange without appropriate registration. Such an action could result in injunctions, cease and desist orders, as well as civil monetary penalties, fines and disgorgement, criminal liability, and reputational harm." "Customers that traded such supported crypto assets on our platform and SUFFERED TRADING LOSSES could also seek to RESCIND A TRANSACTION THAT WE FACILITATED on the basis that it was conducted in violation of applicable law, which could subject us to to significant liability." ^^ That bolded paragraph is fucking huge. Keep in mind that this was in the Coinbase prospectus. I'm not a lawyer and I don't pretend to be one but...shit, if this is true? Coinbase could be fucked if the SEC wins. 1. SEC is claiming the entire staking program Coinbase had was illegitimate 2. SEC named identified several major cryptos in their complaint as securities. Based on what the Coinbase prospectus tells us...if you were a customer of the exchange and happened to trade Matic on there at any point in time (for instance), then you'd technically be entitled to compensation for any losses that you suffered as a result of those trades if Matic is deemed to be a security + Coinbase loses this case with the SEC. So, like I stated many months before ... Coinbase is fighting for their fucking lives right now.

SEC Suing Coinbase Now When it rains it pours. The SEC declared that the following tokens are securities as well. You might want to consider closing whatever position you had in these: $SOL, $ADA, $MATIC, $FIL, $SAND, $AXS, $CHZ, $FLOW, $ICP, $NEAR, $VGX, $DASH, and $NEXO The SEC has sued Coinbase now. Yes, Binance was yesterday. Looks like they're circling the block to come get Coinbase too. Here's a Bloomberg article covering this (just dropped) - https://bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-06-06/coinbase-sued-by-sec-for-breaking-us-securities-rules Here's the actual court filing by the SEC (pdf) - https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.nysd.599908/gov.uscourts.nysd.599908.1.0.pdf

This Channel Helped Lead to Binance’s Downfall SEC cited that ā€œTai Chiā€ article by Forbes that came out toward the end of 2020/beginning of 2021. I was the main source for that piece. I have DMs from the journalist that wrote the story literally asking me about where I got the information about Harry Zhou, Binance, Huobi etc https://twitter.com/librehash/status/1360033379866017794?s=46&t=QYBKsGMfEWPaSQS3PMNeSA

Managed to catch the replies before the deletion & subsequent hiding/blocking. This is the corny shit we’re trying to weed out of this space. Went on a brief hiatus to build & I’m damn near finished building. Time to get back to whipping ass and taking names. Because a lot of these so-called ā€œresearchersā€ out here just chase clout for attention or promo for their own personal products and services. That’s a fact.

Good. Fucking clown. Do some real work instead of fearmongering 24/7 while providing zero real solutions. ^^ Keep in mind that this asshole got their claim to fame by being a wallet provider (MyCrypto) in this space. Too many people with conflicts of interest that would rather save their own asses and/or make a quick buck rather than be constructive and tell users what they need to know to protect their asses in crypto. That's annoying as all fuck.

Why You Need to be Leery of Faulty Signature Schemes Let's start off with the fact that damn near every fucking wallet compromise over the past year has had something to do with the signature process. TrustWallet was the rare exception, but the flaw was still based on faulty cryptography (i.e., weak RNG leading to the generation of wallet addresses that had the equivalent of a 3-word mnemonic phrase; could be cracked by a normal, consumer laptop in well under minute). Examples 1. Research by Kudelski Showing Thousands of Bitcoin Wallet Were Cracked With Nothing but the Signature Alone - https://research.kudelskisecurity.com/2023/03/06/polynonce-a-tale-of-a-novel-ecdsa-attack-and-bitcoin-tears/ 2. Over $500M+ of User Funds Were at Risk on Tron Due to a Faulty Sig Verification Process - https://0d.dwalletlabs.com/game-of-tron-critical-0-day-in-tron-multi-signature-wallets-2c3e90668dc0 (failure to generate deterministic nonces in every scenario; they were able to patch this up before it ended ups screwing everybody) 3. TrustWallet fucked up the key generation process by swapping the function responsible for generating random entropy that's converted to a private key with a much weaker, non-PRNG [mersenne twister], that allowed for the simple compromise of addresses with knowledge of nothing more than the wallet address itself - https://www.ledger.com/blog/funds-of-every-wallet-created-with-the-trust-wallet-browser-extension-could-have-been-stolen (noticing a theme here at this point) 4. ZenGo wallet security team discovered >$25M+ worth of NFTs were jacked off OpenSea via compromised offline signatures in Feb 2023 - https://cointelegraph.com/news/security-team-creates-dashboard-to-detect-potential-nft-hacks-in-opensea ^^ Hopefully you all get the gist of why I gave the advice that I did. Don't ever get it fucked up to think that I would sit here and just speak out of my ass when it comes to protecting user funds in this space. That's something that I've dedicated my entire in career in crypto to cracking the whip on. While chumps in this space were either backing the assholes doing the hacking or getting paid by those very same assholes, I remained independent and free from the control or coercion of any other entity in this space and that remains the truth to this day.

Don't Follow Clowns Like Tayvano (Taylor Monahan) on Twitter We're talking about this individual right here - https://twitter.com/tayvano_ At first, it was assumed that she was posting decent research which pointed out the fact that there have been tons of users of wallet providers (of all sorts) ending up compromised. I quote tweeted that thread and gave the following (sage) advice, which reads: "Heavy proponent of the theory that there's an issue with the way transactions are being signed, which is leading to nonce leakage & subsequently the depletion of funds from various wallet addresses. Strongly recommend everyone start handcrafting paper wallets w strong sigs." This clown responds to that tweet that I put up saying: "You literally don't know what you're talking about. shut up and stop spreading misinformation." ^^ We're going to unpack this in the next message. But as a prequel to that, understand who the fuck you're talking to in this space before you ever reply to some shit that I write with that.

If you have any funds on Atomic Wallet, you must remove them or you’re screwed. There’s still no concrete information on what the attack vector is that’s being exploited.

Atomic Wallet Completely Compromised Move Funds ASAP Assuming you have Atomic Wallet and any crypto (left), you should move it ASAP. Apparently the wallet has been 100% compromised & users are being compromised en masse, leading to a complete and total loss of funds.
