Sometimes we forget that we need Allah’s help and guidance. When we get too caught up with dunya (this life) we often think we can do it on our own without His help. We have to know that nothing changes without the strength and power of Allah . We need to ask Him for His help, even if it is to get closer to Him, or become better at worshiping Him. We need to seek refuge in Allah in everything. It could be negative thoughts we have, our lack of productivity or even our lack of faith. We need to ask Allah to help us and guide us to the Straight Path.

My Journey from Fear to Trusting Allah. Fear is a powerful emotion that can often consume us, trapping us in a cycle of doubt and uncertainty. For years, I found myself ensnared by fear, its oppressive grip stifling my growth and preventing me from truly experiencing the beauty of life. However, my path took a transformative turn when I discovered the immense power of trusting Allah. In Him, I found a Provider, Helper, and Guardian who offered solace, direction, and liberation from the shackles of fear. Today, I share my journey from fear to trust, highlighting the profound freedom that lies in believing and relying on Allah. One of the most enlightening realisations on my journey was recognising that Allah is the ultimate Provider. He knows our needs even before we do, and when we place our trust in Him, He guides us towards what is best for us. This revelation alleviated my anxieties about the future, reminding me that Allah's provision is abundant and perfectly tailored to my individual circumstances. Trusting in His provision allowed me to let go of my fears of scarcity and embrace a mindset of gratitude and contentment. As human beings, we often feel overwhelmed and helpless in the face of life's challenges. We may seek assistance from others, only to be disappointed or let down. However, I discovered that Allah is the Helper we can always rely on. When we turn to Him with sincerity and humility, He grants us the strength and guidance we need to navigate through difficulties. In trusting Allah's help, I found solace in knowing that I am never alone. His support uplifted me during moments of despair, and His wisdom illuminated the path ahead, providing me with clarity and resilience.

Trust is a vital component of our faith, especially trust in Allah. Remember, our lives are full of circumstances we cannot control. During those times, let's strengthen our faith and deepen our trust in Allah. He is the best planner, the most knowledgeable, and the most merciful. When you're faced with obstacles, instead of succumbing to worry, let's practice Tawakkul. Rely on Allah, take appropriate actions, and then leave the results to Him. Trust that whatever happens, it is for the best, even if we may not understand it at the moment. Having trust in Allah doesn’t mean you won’t experience fear or anxiety. It means despite those feelings, you know Allah is with you. Allah is closer to you than your jugular vein and He is with you wherever you are. Remember the beautiful verse from the Quran, "And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him." (Quran 65:3) Trust in Allah's plans, because His plans are far better than our dreams. - Haleh Banani
