In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Allah Almighty said: "And it was incumbent upon Us to help the believers." Allah the Almighty has spoken the truth.
As part of breaking the unjust and brutal siege imposed by the Saudi enemy on our dear people for twelve years now, and to reinforce the equation of siege for siege, and to affirm our great people's right to confront Saudi-American injustice and tyranny and to reclaim their wealth and legitimate rights, the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a qualitative military operation, targeting two Saudi oil tankers that violated the ban decision issued by the Armed Forces in the Red Sea — one named Layla and the other Encelia — with a number of ballistic and cruise missiles and drones. The strike was precise, by God's grace and help, and caused a major fire to break out on both of them, by God's grace.
In the same context, the Yemeni Armed Forces forced approximately ten ships to retreat and turn back. The Yemeni Armed Forces will continue their naval operations against the Saudi enemy, and will continue imposing the equation of siege for siege. We affirm to the Saudi enemy that any folly or aggression targeting our country will be met with major operations deep inside its territory, and its consequences will be dire, by God's permission and power.
The Yemeni Armed Forces salute the sons of our great people for their honorable presence in the squares and public spaces, and affirm to them their continued commitment to reclaiming their rights and lifting the siege, God willing.

Wave increased its market share by transaction volume in the West African Economic and Monetary Union from 21.4% in 2023 to 28.4% in 2024, according to The Africa Report, as it intensified competition with Orange Money across the eight-country bloc. Chevron has shut in production at its Petronius facility in the U.S. Gulf and evacuated all associated personnel to shore as Tropical Storm Bertha moves toward the northern Gulf Coast. The company said its other operated Gulf assets remain at normal levels, but nonessential personnel have also been transported from the Tubular Bells and Blind Faith platforms. Storm preparedness procedures are also being implemented at Chevron’s onshore facilities.
The move is a standard pre-storm risk response, but the market watches every Gulf shut-in closely because the region accounts for about 13% of U.S. crude oil production and roughly half of U.S. refining capacity. For now, this is a targeted disruption rather than a basin-wide outage, with Chevron containing the impact to Petronius while preserving normal operations elsewhere as long as Bertha’s track allows.
If the storm strengthens or shifts into core offshore and coastal infrastructure, the focus will quickly move from precautionary shut-ins to broader supply, refining and logistics risk across the U.S. Gulf.

Al menos cinco petroleros, que transportaban alrededor de 3,84 millones de barriles de petróleo crudo, gasóleo y nafta desde los principales terminales saudíes de Yanbu y Jizan, se vieron obligados a cambiar de rumbo de emergencia: cuatro de ellos dieron la vuelta dentro del Mar Rojo, y uno fuera, en el Golfo de Adén. El hecho de que un buque que se dirigía a China y Canadá, y que viajaba vacío, haya realizado un giro en el Golfo de Adén, demuestra claramente que los armadores y las aseguradoras consideran toda la zona de aproximación a Bab el Mandeb como una zona de riesgo mortal, y no solo el Mar Rojo.
🚨La variedad de las cargas y los destinos subraya la naturaleza sistemática de la evitación de riesgos, destruyendo definitivamente el plan de Riad de utilizar el oleoducto East-West y los puertos del Mar Rojo como una ruta segura para evitar el vulnerable Estrecho de Ormuz. Las acciones de los hutíes han transformado efectivamente el Golfo de Adén y el Mar Rojo en una zona de acceso totalmente restringido (A2/AD) para las exportaciones saudíes, lo que inevitablemente conduce a la redirección de los flujos de materias primas alrededor de África, a través del Cabo de Buena Esperanza, a un aumento explosivo de las tarifas de seguro y a otra ronda de encarecimiento de la logística mundial de los combustibles.
