We’re grateful to the Lord for the opportunity given us to impact our world and create new vistas for the gospel. This is the month of Growth; We will grow, increase, enlarge, expand and become greater, non-stop, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah! Pray-A-Thon 2026 – Fri Sept 4 The Lord Jesus is supposed to be the focus of your entire life, not part of the focus. Learn more in this Friday’s Rhapsody. Paul while correcting the Corinthian Church in 2 Corinthians 11:22-29 (NIV), spoke these words, ‘Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they Abraham’s descendants? So am I. Are they servants of Christ? (I am out of my mind to talk like this.) I am more. I have worked much harder, been in prison more frequently, been flogged more severely, and been exposed to death again and again. Five times I received from the Jews the forty lashes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was pelted with stones, three times I was shipwrecked, I spent a night and a day in the open sea, I have been constantly on the move. I have been in danger from rivers, in danger from bandits, in danger from my fellow Jews, in danger from Gentiles; in danger in the city, in danger in the country, in danger at sea; and in danger from false believers. I have labored and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked. Besides everything else, I face daily the pressure of my concern for all the churches. Who is weak, and I do not feel weak? Who is led into sin, and I do not inwardly burn? The concluding verse, which is so inspiring, reminds us to remain steadfast in spite of opposition knowing that in Christ, we are indomitable and always have the victory. Therefore, at our times of prayer, pray earnestly in tongues of the Spirit, and for Christians around the world suffering hardships or persecution, that they stand firm in faith and remain victorious under all circumstances, in Jesus Name. At our times of prayer this Wednesday, speak words of blessings over your city and nation declaring peace, prosperity, righteousness and salvation, for by your blessing shall your city be exalted (Proverbs 11:11). At our times of prayer today, we’ll pray fervidly in tongues of the Spirit, declaring voices of evil and wickedness are cut off from the nations, and righteousness prevails to the ends of the earth. At our times of prayer today we'll pray earnestly in tongues of the Spirit, as you pray, sing in the Spirit and rejoice in laughter over the graces of God in your life, laugh in celebration of the Church's triumph in Christ, laugh in victory declaring the kingdom of God is established in the earth; laugh, laugh, laugh and praise the Lord, for His will prevails and His mercy endures forever! At our times of prayer today, we'll pray fervidly in the Spirit, and strengthen through prayers for them, men and women around the world, whose hearts the Lord has stirred to fight in defence of justice, truth, the oppressed, and for God's people and the churches of Christ. That they'll be bold to stand firm, full of courage to do the Lord's will, for His glory. The Lord make them victorious over all their adversaries in Jesus' name. Amen.
