Yesterday at Superheroes camp we made food chain project 🐛🐠🦆🦭 A food chain is a series of relationships between groups of organisms (plants, animals, fungi and microorganisms), in which matter and energy are transferred by eating some individuals by others.

❌STOP POACHING❌ Today at the camp we discussed why poaching is dangerous‼️ As human populations have grown, so has the demand for wildlife. People in many countries are accustomed to a lifestyle which fuels demand for wildlife. They expect access to a variety of seafoods, leather goods, timbers, medicinal ingredients and textiles. At the other end, extreme poverty means some people see wildlife as valuable barter for trade🐆🦧🦏 It’s great that our children now know about the importance of animal protection.

Spanish is the official language of Venezuela 🇻🇪 We learnt some new words at Superheroes Summer Camp today😒 To get closer to the culture of the country 💬

SUPERHEROES SUMMER CAMP We cooked Venezuelan Perico🧑‍🍳🥚🍅🧀 at MCS School Silverwood for breakfast today. Perico is a savory Venezuelan breakfast dish of scrambled eggs seasoned with sauteed onions, tomatoes, and peppers. It's often served inside arepas, a Venezuelan egg McMuffin of sorts.

WILD LIFE of Venezuela 🇻🇪🐆🌳 (our Art class at Silverwood school) 🦜Животный мир Венесуэлы отличается своей уникальностью: 23% рептилий и 50% видов амфибий, обитающих в стране, являются эндемиками Венесуэлы. Из 1417 видов птиц, 48 — эндемики. Всего же на территории страны проживает порядка 8 000 видов, это 5-й по многочисленности показатель в мире. 🌀Наиболее яркими представителями фауны Венесуэлы являются гигантские муравьеды, ягуары, обезьяны ревуны, капибары (самый крупный грызун в мире), крокодилы, речные дельфины и ламантины.
