| 7 | [Week 6] The Joys of Meditation
What do you know about meditation? Is it only practised by monks? Are you only supposed to "empty the mind" while meditating?
Not quite, meditation is a practice all can benefit from. Rather than just "emptying the mind", Buddhist meditation encompasses various practices aimed at developing tranquillity, insight, and other qualities such as loving-kindness, with mindfulness being a crucial component in many of these practices.
Join us this Wednesday for a physical guide to meditation, and learn about how the mindfulness habits you cultivate during meditation can be translated into everyday life.

| 12 | [Week 3] Reflections on the Mangala Sutta
Join us for an enlightening discussion on one of Buddhism's most cherished texts - the Mangala Sutta!
The Mangala Sutta is a discourse by the Buddha that enumerates thirty-eight of life's highest blessings. It provides a comprehensive guide to living an ethical and fulfilling life, exemplifying that many of life’s blessing are in fact the fruit of one’s actions.
While this sutta is studied deeply by those committed to the spiritual path, it still offers timeless wisdom relevant to our lay life. See you there!
