I guess when it comes to Star as a character, I wanted to make his ambitions and goals realistic but also something only a himbo would want. For example he doesn't want to get strong to be the strongest but he wants to be the strongest so that way he can not only protect his friends but prove to [spoiler] that he's capable of being the next Warrior of Dreams. Instead of fighting in a tournament to be the best, he fights in it because he wants to go out with the champion cause he thinks he's cool and wants to meet him.
