Vi segnaliamo la nuova edizione di Trieste Next Academy, il programma intensivo che permetterà ad alcuni studenti selezionati di partecipare alla 15^ edizione di Trieste Next – Festival della Ricerca Scientifica 2026, che si terrà a Trieste dal 25 al 27 settembre 2026.

Il Progetto Academy mette a disposizione 300 borse di soggiorno riservate a studenti di laurea triennale, magistrale, master, dottorato e ITS, ai quali viene proposto un percorso di alto profilo che comprende:
Accesso esclusivo e preferenziale a tutti gli eventi con posti riservati e possibilità di dialogo diretto con i relatori;
Vitto e alloggio per tutta la durata del Festival;
Transfer da e per i luoghi e le attività del Festival ove necessario;

| 3 | Il 26 Maggio alle ore 15:00 in Aula Rostagni, Dipartimento di Fisica e Astronomia, si svolgerà l'incontro dal titolo "Scienza oltre le barriere: la carriera di un fisico non vedente tra sfide quotidiane e traguardi".
Il relatore Luca Mezi è Dirigente di ricerca non vedente dell'ENEA di Frascati. Nel corso della sua carriera ha affiancato all’attività scientifica un impegno costante sui temi dell’inclusione e dell’accessibilità nella ricerca, portando la propria esperienza come ricercatore non vedente in contesti accademici e istituzionali.

| 5 | Care studentesse e cari studenti, come sapete, lo scorso 3 novembre 2025 l'edificio ex Paolotti è stato ufficialmente intitolato a Gregorio Ricci-Curbastro, in occasione del centenario della sua scomparsa.
Per diffondere e far memorizzare il nuovo nome, abbiamo lanciato una campagna social: #SaveTheName
Vi invitiamo a scattare una foto davanti al cartellone commemorativo esposto nell'edificio e a condividerla sui nostri canali social. Un gesto semplice ma significativo per onorare la memoria di un grande matematico che ha fatto la storia della nostra Università.

Dear students,
as you know, last November 2025, the former Paolotti building was officially named after Gregorio Ricci-Curbastr.
In order to spread and help memorise the new name, we have launched a social media campaign: #SaveTheName
We invite you to take a photo in front of the commemorative sign displayed in the building and share it on our social media channels. A simple but meaningful gesture to honour the memory of a great mathematician who made the history of our University.
