NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE "Great clown Pagliacci is in town" A very ambiguous piece of anime for sure. The kind one either loves or hates; no in-between. It's either the most shallow and pretentious or the most deep and sophisticated anime. Philosophical monologues, quotes from "The Brothers Karamazov" in Russian, Gospel of Judas, Marilyn Manson, mind-altering substances. Profound commentary on modern society or just smoke and mirrors? It's up to you personally to decide. I usually don't care much about seasonal anime, but this one caught my attention, and I admit, I liked it quite a bit. Out of some morbid curiosity, I checked it out and stuck till the end. One bit resonated with me, so I am indeed biased, but can we all agree on the fact that mentally ill women are hot? Larp or not, this is really "we live in a society" anime, and you get what is written on the box, simple as. Looks like I should check out the game itself. It seems like a real treat.
