Bitumen prices mostly edged lower across major hubs — including Singapore, Iran, and Europe — as demand slowed and both crude oil and fuel oil values weakened.
🇪🇺 Europe
Cargo prices slipped in northern Europe.
Truck prices stayed mostly stable in north & central Europe, except for modest declines in Romania and in truck exports to nearby import markets.
🌊 Mediterranean
Demand for bitumen cargoes and tankers remained sluggish amid the holiday period, weighing on outright prices across Mediterranean Europe.
🇮🇷 Iran
Export prices slipped slightly on weak demand and lower crude values. Sellers resisted deeper discounts as vacuum bottom (VB) feedstock costs rose. Supply also fluctuated due to varying refinery runs and exchange rate volatility.
