In fact, I’ve writing essays for 22 days in a row. And, I’m feeling the improvement in my writing at least in organizing the flow of ideas. Advice you to do similar thing: write essays by yourself and try to find the mistakes by analysing them. @ieltsminds⚡️

#writing_task_2 Some people think secondary school students should study international news as one of their subjects, while others believe that this is a waste of valuable school time. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion. It is true that a multitude of international news is published every day over the world. Some people suggest that schools should teach the news as a subject, while other people think that it is a waste of school time. In my view, it would not be worth teaching news as a subject. There are two main reasons why some people support incorporating international news as a new subject into the curriculum of schools. Firstly, news in the fields of sport or science can strike the interest of school pupils, making them motivated. Some students, for example, may be interested in sports after they see a sportsman who is in the spotlight with a huge following, whereas others can look up to scientists who have achieved breakthroughs. This can help students to make up their minds in terms of their future careers and they are likely to take action to achieve their goals from an early age by enrolling in sports activities or science-related courses. Secondly, news related to environmental problems can increase the awareness of students. In other words, when students are taught news about the dearth of water or plastic pollution across the globe, they can have a better picture of the condition of the environment. After being aware of this, they are likely to think twice before wasting water and buying plastic-containing products excessively. It can, therefore, be sensible to teach students about news at schools. In spite of the arguments above, I believe teaching students international news is not worthwhile and it could waste the valuable time of schools. This is because the school syllabus is already full of mandatory subjects, ranging from math to history, leaving no time to teach the news. Should this new subject be introduced, it could be an extra burden for students, and they are likely to feel reluctant to learn that subject. The limitless amount of news can be another reason why teaching news is not necessary. The scope of news is extremely wide and it is published per second throughout the world, which can make it challenging to keep up the pace of it. Last but not least, all news cannot be dependable, making students and teachers confused or even concerned. More specifically, some news is fake, and the publishers of these websites try to attract more people, aiming at increasing the popularity of their websites. This is likely to mislead students, making them draw some wrong conclusions for themselves about different countries or people which are included in the news. In conclusion, teaching international news as a subject at school can be beneficial because it helps to arouse the interest of students in different fields, and they can be more aware of the problems related to the environment. Nonetheless, I believe that teaching news at school is not worth it as it would waste invaluable school time when there are other important compulsory subjects. Moreover, catching up with all continuous news is impossible and there is a likelihood that some news is counterfeit, which can make students worried. ✍️ 510 words ⏳ 46 min @ieltsminds⚡️
