After being unwell for a few days, I was looking forward to the finale of βBride Of Anubisβ. But gosh, what have they done? The ending was so lame & rushed! Instead of adding three more chapters this week, they could have increased the length of 18 to 20 chapters by a few minutes & be done with it last week itself. I donβt understand the point of dragging the book for three more chapters & giving us rushed ending without any explanation as to what happened & how.
The story & the book was so damn good β They had to ruin it with a bad ending!

βJust An Ordinary Nightβ is the first book out of the two books from the Ordinary series. The author Shirl has done fabulous work in writing this book since the writing is fresh and the story just flows smoothly. This book can easily be featured as the main book on Chapters since it's uh-mazing! It feels like I am a broken record with these community books saying that they are uh-mazing and blah blah blah. But seriously guys, it's very well written and it truly warmed my heart the way the story is. The story and the characters have so much depth unlike most of the recently published books on Chapters and most importantly, nothing is rushed in this book. The chemistry between Lilly, the MC, and Jack, the LI wasn't rushed and the build-up between both of them felt so real. It felt so organic, unlike other published books where the MC can't wait to jump the LI's bones and is puddle the moment she meets LI.
This story has it all β Drama, suspense, thriller, action, and good romance. What else would you ask for? It just pulled me in right in the beginning and I just couldn't put it down until I finished it. It is that good!!

I truly hope that MC comes to her fricken senses now after that eye-opening cliffhanger, she sure is living in a fantasy world where Cole's world revolves around her whereas that's not the case. For whatever reason Cole is the way he is, he isn't MC's. Not yet anyway. I think she should stop lusting for Cole 'cause it's getting pathetic seeing her now. Anna from TNA was very different from Alyssa since Sam & his wife weren't even happy together or were not trying to make their married life work, unlike Cole & Daphne.

At this point, I feel like my suspicions are confirmed - They just keep rolling out books for the sake of it to fill in their weekly book schedule. Not even bothering if it's repeated the umpteenth time but still they won't get tired of giving us the same old plots even though we users are.
I truly miss old Chapters books where every book was fresh and interesting. These days, I don't even recognize Chapters anymore. π Such a shame! π£

Ooh, a brand new VIP book is out & we already know it's gonna be filled with smut. I truly don't have any problem with smut but it shouldn't be just that and most importantly, happening out of the context.
So far so good, although I wasn't happy with reused MC faces, at least a couple of face options are usable like the new Asian option and another Caucasian one which is reused. I wanted to try the Asian face option this time but overall didn't like the facial expressions since something was amiss. Well, that's my personal opinion though. So, I had to go with the safest option for MC. The LI face options were a disaster this time but thankfully, the Caucasian option is good enough for me. I didn't like his Art Scene, it was kinda creepy? It didn't even match his appearance from the book. LOL! π
Anyway, the first two chapters seem to be good for now and we have already got some mystery unraveled by the end of the second chapter. Can't wait for the next updates to see how the story unfolds and what mysteries are revealed. ππ₯°

August 19, 2023 β Update! Chapters: The Drunlual Lands # Chapter 1 to 10!! β Chapters Community Book! πππ
So, Drunlual Lands is a sequel to Edinburgh Nights books and the story continues from Kaiden and Nico's wedding. However, the main MC is Kealan who is the twin of Kaiden. Again, I was pleasantly surprised by all the twists and turns that happened throughout this book. I can easily say that the sequel was much more interesting than the prequel. Although, I enjoyed both these books thoroughly Drunlual Lands surprised me more in good ways. This is one of a kind story and it will keep you on the edge until the very end. The author Fleur wrapped this book nicely and the ending was cutely funny and LOL'd by the turn of events. I'm very sure you all would love this book as much as I loved playing it for you all. The ending was indeed one of my highlights of this book. Haha!
Book Premise:
At age ten, Kealan didn't understand what was happening to him or why. But the King, his father, exactly knew as he had seen the prophecy. This was his only chance to harness the power to himself and rule over all the lands including mystical beings.

Guys, is it just me or does Cole from "The Billionaire's Baby" give off the same vibes as Sam from TNA? π€ Like the MC is ditto Anna, lusting for him even though it is wrong & most importantly, they give in to their temptation but the moment the scene is over, he comes to a sudden realization that this is so wrong just like Sam was in TNA! Like c'mon, give me a break!! ππ
