A. Daa'imni kun TPT amma illee deebistee fudhachuu qabdi. There is a new exposure to an Infectious PTB case. Do screening and testing for active TB disease in the child and if active disease is ruled out, start TPT.
B. Qajeelfamni qorannoon mirkana'e hin jiru. Garuu, if there is a risk of continuing exposure to Infectious cases, TPT may be indicated even after completing anti tuberculosis treatment, specifically for PLHIV.
C. Repeat TPT is indicated for cases like this particular child who happen to have continued exposure after earlier treatment for TB diseases or prior TPT. As a rule, TPT is indicated for all household contacts of Bacteriologically confirmed PTB cases after ruling out active TB irrespective of previous TPT completion or earlier TB treatment.
