Across the Middle East, laws and constitutions openly reserve political power or religious privilege for Muslims. In Israel, non-Jewish citizens vote, sit in parliament, serve in government, and worship freely. And somehow Israel is the country routinely branded ā€œapartheid.ā€ Words should still mean something. šŸ“² See more from Honest Reporting here: linktr.ee/HonestReporting

Think that viral video in your algorithm is authentic? Think again. "Uncivilized Media" brands itself as an edgy, independent progressive voice. But behind the aesthetics lies a corporate filing nobody was supposed to check: a 100% Qatari state-funded setup with a million-dollar budget. Why is a foreign regime paying millions to teach Western audiences that an entire nationality is inherently evil? Swipe to follow the money. šŸ“² See more from Honest Reporting here: linktr.ee/HonestReporting

Terror tunnels under Al-Shifa. Torture chambers in Nasser Hospital. Terrorists hiding in Kamal Adwan Hospital. A guide to how Hamas turned Gaza's hospitals into terror hubs, breaking international law and endangering Palestinian civilians. šŸ“² See more from Honest Reporting here: linktr.ee/HonestReporting

For years, wearing another culture’s clothing as a costume was called cultural appropriation. But when Western activists wrap themselves in keffiyehs at anti-Israel protests, suddenly it’s ā€œsolidarity.ā€ The same people calling Israelis ā€œcolonizersā€ are turning a traditional Middle Eastern garment into the uniform of their own political movement. Funny how the rules change when Israel is involved. šŸ“² See more from Honest Reporting here: linktr.ee/HonestReporting

The Free Marwan campaign gives you hundreds of famous names supporting Marwan Barghouti. But what it doesn’t tell you? He's convicted of five accounts of murder. The shooting of a Greek Orthodox monk, the murder of Yoela Chen near Givat Ze’ev, and an attack on a Tel Aviv restaurant that killed three people. That’s why Barghouti is serving five life sentences plus another 40 years. Now, with Spider-Man: Brand New Day becoming a massive box office hit, nearly 20 actors are being promoted under a new ā€œMarvel Actorsā€ banner calling for his release. They either don't know who he really is, or worse — they know and choose to support him anyway. No matter how hard the Free Marwan campaign tries to erase his history, no amount of Hollywood names can whitewash a murderer into a political prisoner. https://youtube.com/shorts/jYocVCZUJgc šŸ“² See more from Honest Reporting here: linktr.ee/HonestReporting

The UK may ban trade in Israeli goods in the West Bank in the name of opposing settlement expansion. But the impact would reach far beyond the West Bank, from Israeli businesses, to working Palestinians and British Jews. If the policy misses its intended target, what exactly is it meant to achieve? šŸ“² See more from Honest Reporting here: linktr.ee/HonestReporting

Israel played by the rules, and it got them a deep dive investigation by The Guardian. Everyone else just gets away with it. If you can influence the sources AI trusts, you can influence the answers it gives. So Israel funded a small operation that published around 100 articles optimized for AI to pick up. And it did so transparently: the contractor registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) 10 weeks before a single article was published. Of course, other countries do this too. Russia’s Pravda network, for example, pumped out 3.6 million articles in 2024 designed in part to penetrate AI results. China has also operated a massive covert influence network spanning more than 50 platforms. Unlike Israel’s operation, those campaigns were conducted in the dark. But The Guardian didn’t go digging into those influence campaigns. It ā€œinvestigatedā€ the one that was public, searchable and legally disclosed. https://youtube.com/shorts/EsRDy1_YnGo šŸ“² See more from Honest Reporting here: linktr.ee/HonestReporting

European governments accuse Israel of war crimes, crimes against humanity and even genocide. Then they spend billions on Israeli weapons to defend their own citizens. The rhetoric says one thing. Their national security decisions say another. šŸ“² See more from Honest Reporting here: linktr.ee/HonestReporting

80% of the antisemitism in mainstream comment sections uses no slurs at all. Linguist Dr. Matthias Becker read 300,000+ comments under the @BBC, @Guardian & other major outlets to find the coded language keyword filters miss. New episode of The Honest Take is out now!

Israel has issued a tender for housing in E1, an area it is entitled to administer under the Oslo Accords. And despite the condemnations, major peace proposals over the years have generally envisioned E1 remaining under Israeli sovereignty. So why is Israel being accused of undertaking unprecedented actions? The reality of E1 is far more complicated than the headlines or the performative declarations of some Western governments suggest. Here’s what you need to know. šŸ“² See more from Honest Reporting here: linktr.ee/HonestReporting

For years, UNRWA let terror supporters and terrorists penetrate its workforce, disseminated hate-filled and pro-violence texts to Palestinian children, and served as an impediment to peace between Israelis and Palestinians. Now, things are changing. Israel is turning an UNRWA vocational school into a multi-use municipal complex for the tens of thousands of residents of the Kafr Aqab area. When UNRWA is taken out of the picture, the situation improves for both Israelis and Palestinians alike. šŸ“² See more from Honest Reporting here: linktr.ee/HonestReporting

Masar Badil was sanctioned by the US Treasury for its inextricable ties to PFLP front group Samidoun. Yet the Masar Badil's network extends into the US beyond just those two organizations. There are several groups operating under different names -- sometimes inside schools. HonestReporting has mapped them out. Here are the organizations continuing Masar Badil's work in America: šŸ“² See more from Honest Reporting here: linktr.ee/HonestReporting

Famine was ā€œimminent.ā€ Then it was ā€œhappening.ā€ The headlines kept coming, even as the data didn’t line up. New data shows only 12% of children in Gaza had stunting from poor nutrition, compared to 26% across the Middle East, while acute child malnutrition is lower than before the war. The famine was in the headlines, not in the facts. šŸ“² See more from Honest Reporting here: linktr.ee/HonestReporting

Israel is preventing Gazan kids from having childhoods. That’s the latest viral headline to demonize Israel. But it’s Hamas that is stealing childhoods by weaponizing kid’s toys and recruiting preteens to fly them. Because in 2018, arson balloons set southern Israel aflame. In 2021, explosive kites violated the ceasefire in place. And now, kites with menacing messages are landing in the same kibbutzim that were invaded on October 7. Hamas is relying on the media and audiences to forget the recent past in order to believe its current narrative vilifying Israel. But Israel’s reaction isn’t exaggerated. It’s calculated. šŸ“² See more from Honest Reporting here: linktr.ee/HonestReporting

A year after the Nasser Hospital strike, Sky News and The Independent criticized Israel’s conduct while questioning its identification of terrorists among those killed. What their reports largely left out: Palestinian-source material that independently appears to link several casualties to Hamas and Islamic Jihad. Scrutiny matters, but so does evidence that complicates the media's preferred anti-Israel narrative. https://honestreporting.com/what-media-reports-left-out-about-the-nasser-hospital-strike/ šŸ“² See more from Honest Reporting here: linktr.ee/HonestReporting

For Israeli travellers, a vacation can now come with an extra calculation: Is it safe to speak Hebrew? Say where you’re from? Show any sign that you’re Israeli? From Thailand šŸ‡¹šŸ‡ to London šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§, Mongolia šŸ‡²šŸ‡³ and Vietnam šŸ‡»šŸ‡³, Israelis have been assaulted, threatened, harassed and refused service simply because of their nationality. Antisemitism doesn’t stay at protests or online. Increasingly, it follows Israelis across borders. No one should have to hide who they are just to feel safe on vacation. šŸ“² See more from Honest Reporting here: linktr.ee/HonestReporting

A leaked CBC memo told journalists not to call 9/11 a ā€œterrorist attack.ā€ After Oct. 7, CBC gave similar instructions on Hamas, even treating ā€œterroristā€ as ā€œopinion, not fact.ā€ Canada’s publicly funded broadcaster isn’t avoiding loaded language. It’s obscuring what happened.
