BREAKING | 14,000 Changi Airport workers to be segregated into 3 distinct zones. The departure and arrival gates, arrival immigration hall and baggage claim hall are considered the highest-risk (Zone 1). Zone 1 - Only younger and vaccinated workers will be deployed - Surgical masks, face shields, gloves and surgical gowns must be worn at all times - Workers cannot leave their zone throughout their shift Travellers from “very high-risk” countries will be escorted to remote gates in T2 for immigration and be transported directly to their quarantine facility.
