FII selling continues unabated, and now even DIIs are struggling to absorb this pressure, adding further strain on the market. I anticipate an additional correction ahead, as FII selling is likely to persist throughout the month. If you're holding stocks with profits and the company reports weak Q2 results, it may be wise to book those profits. For stocks that have posted strong Q2 results, consider holding.Recently, we have seen harsh penalties for stocks reporting weak or average results, signaling a bearish phase in the market. It appears that DIIs are unable to counter the FII selling pressure, which suggests more challenges ahead. The recent sharp decline in heavyweight stock Reliance Industries within the last month reflects the severity of the market . If DIIs continue to struggle to absorb FII selling, we might experience a prolonged time and price correction similar to 2022. Companies are reporting weak Q2 results, suggesting that the market’s PE ratio is not aligned with companes earnings.
