"HFCL" Multibagger stock strong recovery after sharp fall due to panic selling..ππ
"MTAR TECHNOLOGIES" Multibagger stock strong recovery after sharp correction. π
FII selling is slowly coming down, and I expect a good rally in the market after the SpaceX IPO subscription, which begins tomorrow. If there is no major negative news that triggers panic among retail investors, the market could recover strongly from Monday.
Retail investor panic selling usually lasts only 1β2 days. We saw panic selling on Monday because the global sell-off on Friday created fear across social media. However, the market recovered strongly on Tuesday. Then, fresh concerns emerged after the U.S. attack on Iran, which again triggered panic selling on Wednesday and Thursday.
When retail investors panic sell, portfolios heavily exposed to small-cap and mid-cap stocks can suffer significant losses. During such periods, they do not focus on business fundamentalsβthey simply sell in fear. As a result, many fundamentally strong stocks fall without any specific reason.
I expect panic selling to stop from Monday. Since FII selling has also reduced, we can expect a good recovery in the market. Our channel explains why many stocks fall even when the index appears stable. We focus on understanding the psychology of both retail investors and FIIs. Many investors struggle to understand why fundamentally strong stocks decline without any negative news. Social media rarely explains what is actually happening inside the market. To understand market movements, you need to understand retail & FII psychology.Technical charts cannot always explain what is happening beneath the surface.
Fridays are usually volatile trading sessions, so tomorrow may also remain volatile.
Some investors believe they should book profits whenever a stock rallies sharply. However, in the current market, only a limited number of stocks are outperforming. If you sell an outperforming stock, you must reinvest that money elsewhere. But there is no guarantee that the new stock will outperform. In fact, it may fall further.
Therefore, if a stock continues to outperform, it may be better to stay invested. Small corrections and periods of consolidation are a normal part of any strong uptrend.
Small-cap and mid-cap stocks are under strong selling pressure today, similar to what we witnessed yesterday. There appears to be significant selling by retail investors, possibly due to panic caused by the ongoing US-Iran conflict.
How long FIIs will continue selling IT stocks is difficult to predict. For the past two months, the IT index has been declining by more than 1% almost every day. If FIIs are withdrawing money to participate in the upcoming SpaceX IPO, then selling pressure may reduce from next week onward. Tomorrow is the SpaceX listing day.
If your portfolio falls during a market correction, ensure that it recovers strongly when the market rebounds. A strong recovery usually indicates that your portfolio contains stocks from emerging and high-growth sectors. However, if your portfolio does not recover when the broader market recovers, it may be time to reassess your stock selection and portfolio strategy. π₯π
Today also , IT Index is down another 1.5%. IT stocks are largely responsible for the underperformance of the Indian market. FIIs have been consistently selling heavyweight IT stocks, which has put pressure on the Nifty 50. The weakness in the Nifty 50 is, in turn, affecting the small-cap segment, as retail investors tend to sell small-cap stocks when they see the benchmark index underperforming. This cycle has been continuing for the last two months.
In my view, IT has become a dead sector for long-term investors, and I expect it to underperform for the next few years, apart from occasional short-term recovery rallies. The sector is unlikely to regain strong momentum until there is meaningful adoption of new technologies such as AI, data centers, and other emerging digital infrastructure.
Without significant investment in these growth areas, the IT sector's revenue growth may remain in the single digits. As a result, FIIs may continue to stay away from the sector. Therefore, even if IT stocks become cheaper after a sharp correction, strong FII buying may not return unless growth improves.
π₯As I explained in my last YouTube video, the next leg of the rally is likely to come from pharma sector stocks. We are now witnessing strong momentum across several pharma companies, confirming the sector's strength.
This is a sector-driven and stock-picker market. Many pharma companies are breaking above their all-time highs, which suggests that a fresh wave of rally in the pharma sector could be on the cards during this bull run.
Some pharma stocks currently outperforming the market:
β’ Kwality Pharmaceuticals
β’ Bliss GVS Pharma
β’ Venus Remedies
β’ Senores Pharmaceuticals
β’ Ind-Swift Laboratories
β’ Sakar Healthcare
β’ Shilpa Medicare
β’ Rubicon Research
β’ Supriya Lifescience
β’ Marksans Pharma
β’ Sudeep Pharma
β’ Sai Life Sciences
β’ Innova Captab
β’ Gland pharma

"INOX India" is already working with the Indian space program and supplies cryogenic storage tanks, liquid oxygen tanks, and liquid hydrogen tanks for missions of the Indian Space Research Organisation.
The company recently received a large order from a global private space exploration company. While the customer has not been officially disclosed, many market participants believe it could be "SpaceX" .
If this speculation turns out to be true, INOX India could benefit from the rapid growth of the private space industry. The company's expertise in cryogenic storage and handling systems makes it well-positioned to support future space missions and rocket launch programs.
This could be one of the reasons why investors are showing strong interest in the stock.
FII selling has reduced, and I expect it may decline further after the SpaceX IPO listing. Today was a golden opportunity for the market to rally, but panic selling by retail investors put pressure on the small-cap and mid-cap indices.
Early this morning, I mentioned in my post that small-cap and mid-cap stocks were witnessing strong profit booking. Whenever retail investors sell in panic, even fundamentally strong stocks tend to fall.
Today's panic selling may have been triggered by concerns over the U.S. attack on Iran. Most retail investors make decisions based on social media news .
When FIIs or DIIs sell, they generally reduce exposure to sectors with lower growth potential. For example, they may sell IT stocks if they believe future growth prospects are weakening. Their decisions are based on business fundamentals and long-term growth expectations, not short-term price movements.
Retail investors, on the other hand, often sell purely based on price action and fear, without considering the company's fundamentals or growth potential. This is why I am more concerned when retail investors start panic selling. During such phases, even high-quality stocks can fall sharply without any fundamental reason.
I have observed this pattern repeatedly over the last two years.
Many retail investors follow the same mindset: whenever negative news spreads on social media, they immediately decide to exit the market. They think, "Let me book my profits and re-enter later." However, Non of the retail investors have successfully created wealth using this strategy. In most cases, they end up missing rallies in future multibagger stocks.
Today's selling was concentrated mainly in small-cap and mid-cap stocks, which suggests that retail investors were the primary sellers.
I hope FII selling continues to decline from next week onward after SPACEX IPO. If retail investors can avoid panic selling, I expect a strong rally in small-cap stocks in the coming weeks.
πΊπΈ U.S. Inflation Update (May 2026)
U.S. inflation rose to 4.2% in May, up from 3.8% in April and the highest level in three years.
The main reason was higher energy prices caused by disruptions in global oil and energy supplies due to the Iran conflict. Rising fuel and transportation costs have increased the prices of many goods and services.
Higher inflation may reduce the chances of near-term interest rate cuts by the U.S. Federal Reserve.π₯
