4) Keep learning: Continuously improve market, professional and personal skills. 5) Prioritise family: Give time and emotional presence beyond screens and charts. 6) Strong health: Maintain good sleep, exercise and a balanced routine. 7) Gratitude and balance: Balance money with meaning, ambition with contentment, and success with humility. Big alert: As per market grapevine, companies are increasingly raising equity instead of borrowing from banks, shifting the risk of business failure to investors rather than banks or promoters. Despite the recent crash, over 90% of SME stocks remain overvalued. Stay away from junk SME IPOs and check valuations and future prospects carefully before applying. Where valuations look stretched, consider selling the application in the grey market, subject to allotment.
Wild volatility till 31st December 2026: Uncertainty, fear, corrections and intermittent crises may continue, with inflation likely to remain a concern. Stay disciplined, avoid chasing trends and focus on structured, long-term investing. Wealth is built through time in the market, not by trying to time the market.
⤠Very negative for bulls and the Indian economy: An agriculture economist expects shortfalls in major Kharif crops, with rice, oilseeds, pulses and cotton likely to be affected. Climate, crude and currency remain key threats. A stronger
El NiƱo impact in November-December could also affect the Rabi crop, pushing inflation higher and reducing purchasing power. Brent crude above $80 would add further pressure.
Market veteran view: Subsequent quarters may not match Q1, which benefited from manufacturing and supported. 7.8% real GDP growth. Such growth may be difficult to sustain through the rest of the year. India needs a stronger performance on the exports front.
Big alert on Brent crude: Brent crude needs to remain below $80 for sustained strength in Indian equities. Until then, large players may continue selling on rallies. With FIls facing weak returns over the past five years alongside currency depreciation and high LTCG, STCG, STT and stamp-duty costs, foreign investor interest remains subdued. For now, focus on selected growth stocks with strong Q1 EBITDA/PAT and positive Q2 FY27 outlook, along with quality IPOs amid the heavy IPO pipeline over the next 3-4 months.
Insurance is income protection: Most people buy insurance based on what agents recommend rather than calculating their family's actual income-replacement requirement. If annual family contribution is Rs.10 lakh and 20 earning years remain, the income value is Rs.2 crore. A Rs.20-30 lakh policy may therefore be inadequate to protect lifestyle, education, EMIs and future needs. Before investing aggressively, first protect the income engine that creates wealth.
No stock becomes a multibagger through PR alone: Strong businesses create wealth through improving fundamentals and sustainable growth, not recommendations or publicity. Patience, conviction and time remain the key ingredients of long-term wealth creation.
Stock selection and timing are different: Success depends on three things what to buy, when to buy and when to exit. Multibaggers often emerge from lesser-known stocks that are not yet covered by the media or analysts. Finding such opportunities requires patience, research and the right entry and exit timing.
China ends tax break on foreign-investor dividends: China will impose a 20% individual income tax on dividends and bonuses received by foreign individuals from foreign-invested enterprises from 1st September. The exemption, introduced in 1994 to attract foreign investment, is being withdrawn to ensure equal tax treatment among market participants. Chinese experts said the move does not signal tighter restrictions on foreign investment.
Moving from short-term speculation to long-term wealth: Wealth creation requires a fundamental shift in mindset. Tracking returns daily, weekly or even monthly often leads to wrong expectations and missed opportunities. Before investing in market-linked assets, remember these 7 core principles. 1. Equity returns are non-linear: Markets do not move in a straight line. Wealth creation often comes through short bursts of strong gains followed by long periods of consolidation and volatility. Patience is the price of long-term returns. 2. Avold performance chasing: Do not chase last year's best-performing stocks, sectors or funds. Different asset classes perform differently across cycles, which is why diversification helps balance portfolio risk and returns. 3. Respect asset-class boundaries: Equity and fixed income serve different purposes. Equity offers higher growth potential with higher risk, while fixed income focuses on capital preservation and stability. They are complementary, not competitors. 4. Markets are indifferent to expectations: Markets do not follow personal timelines or return expectations. Volatility is part of investing. Successful investors react rationally to changing market conditions rather than constantly trying to predict them. 5. Money rewards patience, not excitement: Frequent trading, reacting to news and chasing trends may feel productive but do not necessarily create wealth. Staying invested in quality assets and allowing compounding to work is what matters. 6. Conviction matters: The stock market has no secret formula. Wealth creation comes from identifying quality opportunities, having conviction in the underlying business and staying disciplined through market cycles. 7. Let winners run: Take calculated positions, keep a reasonable stop-loss and, once a position moves decisively in your favour, avoid exiting too early. Control downside, protect profits and give strong investments time to compound.
NSE pre-open session explained: From 7th September 2026, NSE will revise pre-open rules for equity cash and F&O. 9:00-9:05 AM: market and limit orders can be placed, modified or cancelled. 9:05-9:10 AM: only limit orders are allowed, with the session potentially closing randomly in the last two minutes. 9:10-9:12 AM: orders are matched and the opening price is determined. 9:12-9:15 AM: three-minute buffer before normal trading begins.
Popular stocks hit 52-week lows: Bajaj Steel, Dabur, FirstCry, IRFC, RVNL, PI Industries, Ramky Infrastructure, Symphony and others show that even good businesses can deliver poor returns when bought at excessive valuations. Investing in good companies alone is not enough; entry and exit timing also matter. Review investments every three months on both technical and fundamental parameters as markets, technology and business conditions change rapidly. The market always speaks through price.
"Multibagger" investing is becoming a marketing trend: Investing should focus on quality businesses rather than chasing extraordinary returns. The term "multibagger" describes an outcome, not an investment strategy. Retail investors should avoid chasing past returns and instead build a diversified portfolio of quality businesses with long-term growth potential. Targeting a reasonable 15-18% annual return over 10-20 years, while allowing good businesses to compound, is a more disciplined approach to wealth creation.
Big global alert: Rising inflation and prolonged geopolitical tensions are pushing bond yields higher, increasing rate-hike concerns and the risk of pressure on corporate profits. France's 10Y yield hit 4.16%, Germany 3.31%, Portugal 3.665%, Italy 4.15%, Spain 3.76%, the US 4.80% and India 7%. JGB yields are at record highs across the curve, while UK 10Y gilt yields are at their highest since 2008. The global bond market signals heightened financial-market risk.
September IPO calendar is overloaded: After around Rs.56,000 crore raised through IPOs in July-August, September could see another Rs.45,000 crore+ of issuance, creating liquidity pressure in the secondary market. With
the NSE IPO potentially arriving before Diwali, investors should remain cautious as past mega-IPO periods have often seen profit booking in cash-market stocks.

Brent crude above $95 Is a major negative, while levels above $80 remain a concern for the Indian economy.
A severe El NiƱo-driven drought, reportedly the worst in 20 years, is another major concern. Heavy IPOs, including three mega issues, could drain liquidity from cash stocks, keeping Sensex/Nifty range-bound while triggering profit booking. Global food prices are at their highest since 2022, while geopolitical tensions remain elevated. Avoid overtrading, leverage and margin funding until Diwali as volatility could remain high.
As per market grapevine, five value buys include Blackrose at Rs.113 after a 200% first interim dividend for FY27 versus 125% for FY26, Chemcon Speciality Chemicals at Rs.198 after a 65% FY26 dividend, BSE SME Rajesh Power at Rs.782 at around 10x PE, Haldyn Glass at Rs.147 after a 70% FY26 dividend and Texmo Pipes & Products at Rs.46 at around 5x forward PE. These stocks remain attractive versus their lifetime highs and can be kept on the radar for the next 10-15 days.
BSE MD & CEO Sundararaman Ramamurthy said participation in CAS has been affected by liquidity constraints and that dealer feedback is being collated for presentation to regulators. As per market grapevine, until a practical solution emerges, retailers should avoid F&O/options and focus on selected growth-oriented stocks with strong Q1FY27 EBITDA/PAT and an optimistic Q2 FY27 outlook, along with quality IPOs.
As per market grapevine, markets may remain highly volatile with a sell-on-rise approach due to high crude, rising inflation, Al concerns, weak monsoon, heavy IPOs and increased supply through block deals, bulk deals, OFS and QIPs. For now, focus on selected growth stocks with strong Q1 FY27 EBITDA and positive Q2 FY27 outlook. Blackrose, BSE SME Rajesh Power, Chemcon Speciality Chemicals, IOLCP, Morepenlab, Southwest and Texmopipes may give good. returns over the next 2-3 months.
As per a market veteran, the US Federal Reserve may not raise interest rates at its 15th-16th September meeting
due to the upcoming mid-term elections in the US.
NSE is reportedly targeting a Rs.5.26 lakh crore valuation for its IPO, with shares discussed at Rs.1,700-1,900 and an expected issue size of around Rs.31,500 crore, potentially making it India's biggest IPO. The issue is expected to be a 100% OFS and may launch in September, while GMP is reportedly around Rs.270-290. Final details remain unconfirmed. Jio's mega IPO may also come before Diwali. The two mega IPOs could keep Sensex/Nifty range-bound while draining liquidity from cash stocks.
⤠Stocks to watch for short-term opportunities include Anantraj, Arrow Green, Atlanta Electricals, Blackrose, BSE SME Rajesh Power, Chemcon Speciality Chemicals, DCB Bank, Haldyn Glass, HFCL, HSCL, IOLCP, Morepenlab, RBL Bank, Southwest and Texmopipes. Keep on radar/watch list.
Fundamental analysis focuses on what a company is worth through revenue, profit, debt, margins, PE, ROE and cash flow, while trend analysis focuses on where money is flowing through price action, volumes, demand-supply, liquidity, momentum and breakouts. Fundamentals identify what to buy, while trend helps identify when the market is ready to reward it. Demand and supply ultimately drive prices, making trend and price action important when hunting for potential multibaggers. Risk management remains the first rule.
NSE will revise its pre-open auction framework from 7th September. The session will remain from 9:00-9:15 am, with market and limit orders allowed during the first five minutes and only limit orders from 9:05-9:10 am. Order matching and opening price determination will shift to 9:10-9:12 am, with market-market orders receiving priority.
On Friday, 28th August 2026, bullish breakouts with strong volumes were seen in Arrow Green, Blackrose, BSE SME Rajesh Power, Haldyn Glass, HSCL, IOLCP and Texmopipes. Keep these seven stocks on the radar for Monday.
Very negative for bulls and investors: El NiƱo risks, lower domestic production and falling pulse imports could push inflation higher. Skymet has indicated a 70% probability of drought, raising concerns over food inflation and purchasing power. Higher inflation could ultimately weigh on consumption and the broader Indian economy.
⤠Astro tension: Rahu remains in Dhanishta Nakshatra until 5th December 2026, while Saturn stays retrograde until 11th December 2026. This combination may result in sharp volatility, with unexpected rallies as well as sudden falls. Reduce F&O and options trading, avoid overtrading and leverage, and strictly avoid margin trading or MTF until December. Investors should be financially and mentally prepared for sudden gap-ups and gap-downs.
BSE on CAS: BSE remains in constant touch with regulators and is collecting feedback from dealers before presenting it to the authorities. Until a practical solution emerges, market veterans suggest focusing on a few selected growth-oriented stocks that have delivered strong Q1 EBITDA and PAT growth and provided an optimistic Q2 FY27 outlook. Investors should also remain highly selective as a large number of IPOs are expected over the next 3-4 months.
Big global alert: Prolonged geopolitical tensions and rising inflation are pushing bond yields higher across major economies, increasing the possibility of further rate hikes and pressure on corporate profits. France's 10Y yield reached 4.16%, Germany 3.31%, Italy 4.15%, the US 4.80%, India 7% and Japan crossed 3%. With government debt. and fiscal deficits rising, central banks may face pressure to expand their balance sheets, potentially fuelling inflation further. Be prepared for a roller-coaster ride in global interest-rate markets.
US Fed alert: Fed Governor Barr warned that interest rates may need to be raised if inflation fails to cool. The next Federal Reserve meeting is scheduled for 15th-16th September 2026, making the outcome important for global markets.
⤠Market veteran view: Analysis based purely on past years and historical trends may no longer be sufficient as the market environment, demand and supply dynamics have changed significantly. Current price movements are increasingly influenced by genuine supply shortages and limited production capacity, rather than speculation alone. Investors should therefore focus on present demand-supply conditions and future capacity rather than relying only on historical price behaviour.
8 rules for successful trading: 1) Let trades hit TP or SL to control greed and fear. 2) Trade only when multiple
confirmations align. 3) Stick to one strategy instead of constantly switching. 4) Avoid joining multiple forex groups that create confusion. 5) Higher timeframes remain the key reference. 6) Keep strategies simple; complexity does not guarantee profits. 7) Patience is essential-trading is largely the skill of waiting. 8) Maintain a trade journal to analyse every win and loss and improve future decisions.
7 meaningful rules for 2026: 1) Disciplined trading: Patience, clear setups and strict risk management. 2) Consistent growth: Protect capital first and avoid greed. 3) Calm work life: Stay productive, manage stress and maintain inner peace.
