Newsmax has put out *85 videos* over the past year glazing Israel and portraying the Jewish state as a wonderful, "safe" place for Americans to travel to—in the middle of a war. At the very end of these videos, they say they're "brought to you by Lapam"—though they never spell it out (and the transcript says "LA Palm," "La Pom," "Le Pain," etc.). It turns out "Lapam" is the "Hebrew-language acronym" of LPM, the Israeli Government Advertising Agency. Does anyone think this classifies as a genuine disclosure? As I note below, I had to go back to the first videos they posted to see they revealed at the very end that they're "sponsored by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs," which is a proper disclosure everyone can understand (though deeply embarrassing to their credibility). From my review, they only did that proper disclosure in the first three of the 85 videos they have up. The State Dept has a "Level 3: Reconsider travel" advisory for travel to Israel due to the risks of terrorism and unrest.
