Cont from Part-1 of PMSS-2024 Msg... DOC-4: Matriculation/10th Board Certificate. Required to verify Date of Birth and ESM (father's) name. Admit Card not accepted. DOC-5: MEQ Certificate. 10+2 Mark Sheet/Graduation Mark Sheet of 3 years/all semesters)/Diploma Mark Sheets of all semesters and Graduation Mark Sheets for 1st and 2nd year (all semesters) for Integrated Course to be uploaded as applicable. Note: If there is a gap of one MEQ year before admission to professional course then Delay Explanation Certificate to be given by the Student. DOC-6: Cancelled Cheque and/1st page of Bank Pass Book of Student. (Preferably SBI/PNB). Must have IFS Code and originally stamped and signed by bank manager. DOC-7: Copy of Original PPO. For Category-6. Most ESM/Widows will be in this Category. Part II Order/POR/Gen Form of Navy for Category 1 to 4. DOC-8: Adhaar Card of Student (Not of ESM/Widow) in scan copy of Original. DOC-9: An original Affidavit or Self Certificate to be uploaded in case child is born after Retirement, along with Part-II order/NAVPEN Order/ POR. Sample Affidavit given below.👇 Step-8: Upload, only scan copies of all ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS. Please DO NOT scan and upload from photocopies of any documents. After you finish, "Forward to ZSB." Step-9: After checking, if there is no mistake, we will send to RSB. If any mistake, it will be returned to you and you will get an EMail and SMS alert, saying "Your Application No.... is placed under Observation....." Step-10: Open your online application in KSB portal, see what the mistakes are, rectify them and upload /re-submit it again WITHIN 10 DAYS. Else, your application will get automatically deleted by website. Please keep checking registered Email and SMS daily for such alert. Step-11: We will check your application again. If all OK, will recommend and fwd to RSB. Step-12: Further, RSB will check and if all ok, will fwd to KSB. Step-13: In KSB, your application will be checked and approved. Note-1: Both RSB and KSB may find mistakes in your online application and return to you with observation. You will get SMS & EMail alert. Please rectify such observations within 10 days and upload again, else your application will be automatically deleted by the system. Note-2: In case of any clarification required or any doubt/problem with online application, please contact Joint Director (JD), PMSS at KSB by EMail/phone. Contact details are given below.👇 Step-15: KSB will prepare an All INDIA MERIT LIST to allot 5500 PMSS Scholarships during Jan-May 2025. Not all applications will get scholarship. If you get Scholarship, the money will be directly credited into your child's account once a year. Note: If you don’t get PMSS Scholarship, you can apply for Book Grant from WB Govt next year. SALIENT POINTS: Other Important Aspects for ESM/Student related to PMSS:- 1) There may be SMS or Email query from KSB, please regularly check your SMS and Email to response in time. 2) Email ID and Mobile Number given in the application must be of the student. Alternate Mobile Number can be of ESM or Widow. Also, E-mail and mobile number once registered should not be changed, since all messages will be sent to the registered Email ID /Mobile number. 3) Student/ESM to keep in mind the periodicity of checking of application (new and renewal) before raising any query relating to checking/payment status of applications. 4) Student/ESM should login to KSB account regularly to check the status of application. Your online application may be showing pending at KSB for a long time. This is because, the application will have to be processed at different levels/functionaries at KSB. LAST DATE TO SUBMIT ONLINE APPLICATION: Apply before 30 Nov 2024 for PMSS, if eligible. PMSS: PRIME MINISTER'S SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME: 2024-25. DEATAILS GIVEN IN KSB WEBSITE: (www.ksb.gov.in). HEIGHLIGHTS OF PMSS:- 1) Scholarship given ONLY for Professional, Medical & Technical Courses, after passing 10+2 and NOT for any normal Graduation BA/BSc /BCom courses. 2) TO BE APPLIED ONLY ON FIRST YEAR OF PROFESSIONAL COURSE after taking ADMISSION in colleges. After passing 1st year you CAN NOT APPLY in Second Year or after that for PMSS. AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIP GRANT:- 1) BOYS- Rs 2500-pm. (₹30000-per Year). 2) GIRLS- Rs 3000/- pm. (₹36000-per Year). Note: Amount credited once a year for max 5 years Course. LAST DATE TO APPLY ONLINE:- 30 NOV 2024. ELIGIBILITY:- 1) ESM/Widows - ALL RANKS. (Only Disabled Children of Officers are eligible). 2) Maximum 2 Children. Son unmarried and below 25 yrs. Daughter Unmarried, no age limit. Child should be unemployed and fully dependent on ESM/Widow. 3) ZSB ID Card. ESM/Widow must have ID Card issued by ZSB, Barasat. 4) Applying for PMSS for the 1st time in First Year of Course, except lateral entry courses, eg. BA-LLB. 5) Scored 60% and Above in Minimum Educational Qualifications (MEQ) levels. (i.e. 10+2/ Diploma / Graduation). 6) Eligible Courses: Only UGC approved regular "Professional and Technical Courses," conducted in approved colleges within India are allowed. MCA and MBA are only TWO post-graduation level courses are allowed. Note: Distance Learning Courses and courses in Foreign Countries are not allowed. Note: In case of integrated course (such as BA-LLB) scholarship will be given ONLY for professional portion of the course (LLB) only. List of Eligible Courses is given below.👇 7) Number of Scholarships: A total of 5500 Children of both Serving and ESM will get scholarship, equally for Boys & Girls as per All India merit list. Hence, all applicants may NOT get scholarship. Note: If you don’t get PMSS Scholarship due to less merit, or forgot to apply, then please for BOOK GRANT from RSB- Govt of WB (Rs 18000/- one time) next year during Mar month. 8) Renewal of Scholarship: Renewal of Scholarship for 2nd year onwards to be done online. Upload proof of promotion to next higher class with minimum 50% marks in all Semesters/Subjects and in one chance to get scholarship amount on subsequent years. No need to visit ZSB for renewal. Apply for Renewal online between Jan and Dec 2023. HOW TO APPLY:- Please follow Check List given below.👇 Step-1: Download and print Annexure 1,2 & 3 from KSB website OR from this Telegram Group. Blank Copies Annexure -1, 2 & 3 for the Year 2024-25 are given below. 👇👇👇 Step-2: Get Annexure-3 Form signed by the Student and Bank Manager. Bank account should be of the student and not of ESM. Bank Manager should put both Round Stamp & his own square Stamp and sign. Step-3: Get Annexure-2 Form, Bona-fide Certificate to be signed only by Designated person of the college with round stamp, as per list mentioned in the Annexure. Step-4: After getting both Annexures 1&2 signed then Fill up Annexure-1 (ESM Certificate) and Visit ZSB, along with Annexures 2&3 and all original Service documents and Educational Certificates of student for verification. Step-5: After verification by Clk of Counter No 5, Annexure-1 will be signed by the Secretary ZSB. Step-6: Log in to KSB website "www.ksb.gov.in". Note: To log in you need to Register in KSB Website first, with Service and Personal information. After getting User ID and Password from KSB on registered Email, you can Log in to KSB website again and Apply for PMSS. Step-7: Fill up online PMSS Form under PMSS tab. LIST OF DOCUMENTS TO BE UPLOADED ALONG WITH ONLINE APPLICATION OF PMSS:- DOC-1: ANNEXURE-1. Filled in Blue ink and signed by Secretary ZSB. DOC-2: ANNEXURE-2.
