In a recent study of 100 archers, the top 50 were given a wooden bow for a competition.
The lower 50 were also given a wooden bow plus it was coated in vitamin C.
They were told that while holding the bow, they would gain energy transdermally by holding the bow to assist them in the competition.
The bottom 50 did far better in the competition than the top 50. This became known as the "Plus C Bow Effect".
