Combot 19.11.20 is out. Combot will always delete previous reputation change message. Advanced reputation is now deprecated. combot.org was unbanned and should be accessible within Russia. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience. There are some changes on translations.combot.org too. While combot.org is not ready for right-to-left writing systems, Telegram (therefore, @combot too) is. Now there's separate project for bot translations - bot-translations.combot.org. You are welcome to help us to translate @combot to Hebrew, Persian and Arabic. There's new command (!c) to get real-time cryptocurrency market data, it is powered by CoinMarketCap. You can enable it on "Entertainment" tab in moderation settings. Try sending !c btc to @combotchat. You can now attach buttons with links to a welcome message and announcements. There were some interface changes, most importantly - reputation system and levels & XP system are now located on "Entertainment" tab. A note for developers - combot.org/cas now resides on cas.chat, you are strongly encouraged to update your API calls (replace combot.org/cas/api with api.cas.chat). CAS API is still supported on combot.org, but not for long. Enjoy improved bot performance! @combot underwent infrastructure improvements which significantly increased performance.

For the last couple of days, combot.org has been under a ban by internet providers in Russia. Unfortunately, we were not notified of this matter. Russia makes up ~18% of Combot's userbase and we will do our best to make sure Russian users can use combot.org. We are continuing our efforts to resolve the situation and will keep you updated. The ban was imposed by Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation which makes it notoriously hard to lift. For now, Russian users have to use VPN and proxies to access combot.org in case it is not accessible. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience. Combot 19.11.2 is out. All commands are case-insensitive now - for your convenience. This time, Combot will not miss your command because of autocorrect. I also updated Commands page - it is convenient and up to date at the moment. All commands are also available on translations.combot.org, you're more than welcome if you want to help us to translate. Improved performance for leaderboards (yes, again). Large leaderboards with more than 200 members load faster now. Your profile now displays the list of groups you have sent messages to and your message counter.

Starting today, you can multiplex !ban, !unban, !mute, !kick, !unrestrict and !unmute commands. Usernames are supported too. Valid examples are listed below. 12345 is example identifier (ID) of a target user, you can use them too. For recurring announcements, you can now define the time when the first message will be sent out. Also the interface will show the time for the next message and approximate time left.

The option to warn on violation was added for blacklisted words. You can now quickly copy your list of words or clear the list using corresponding buttons. New filters - "Videos" and "GIFs", each of them also has the option to warn on violation. "Delete videos & GIFs" filter is deprecated now.

Next-generation filters (files, links, commands, stickers) have a new option "Warn on violation", it will warn a user with appropriate reason. Now if you send !toplvl, Combot will show the link to the leaderboard, it is also accessible from "My Groups" page. Essentially, this is a web view for !toplvl command and you can search users there. The leaderboard does not include inactive users and level 1 users. This release brings some performance improvements for large groups. If your analytics page was loading slowly, it should be loading faster now.

Triggers got updated! First of all, you can now switch triggers on and off conveniently within our web-interface. "Admin mode" from legacy triggers is back and you can create triggers that are never triggered by an admin. There's new "chance to trigger" option which is self-explanatory. Starting from this release, you cannot create legacy triggers anymore. There's also new option to force certain actions when selection is randomized - this way you can be sure that a certain action is always executed. "Filters" tab has been partially redesigned. We have added a new interface for the following filters: files, links, commands and stickers. Note that the new interface is not backwards compatible, therefore you'll see both new and "legacy" interfaces if you set up any of these filters before. The legacy interface for these filters is now deprecated and it will not show up unless you used it before. Note that if you disable the legacy interface, it will be gone forever. Backend was optimized to work faster and more efficient with the new interface, the legacy interface will keep using old backend methods as long as it is supported. On a side note, "Regular expressions" block was moved to "Filters" tab, "Creator actions" block was moved to "Basic" tab, "Advanced" tab was removed completely. Bug fixes, too. A quick reminder, what has been deprecated: — Markdown has been deprecated, it is painful to use, some characters are impossible to escape (contrary to HTML), it created a lot of confusion with underline often being used inside links and mentions. We added the tag panel above all text fields, it has all supported tags; — Legacy triggers have been deprecated, interface is bulky, options are scattered, it is real pain to manage more than 10 triggers. New triggers (labelled as "Triggers V2") have more options, slicker design, support multiple conditions and multiple actions inside a trigger; — "Rules" text field has been deprecated, because it's nothing more than built-in trigger which is just taking up space; — Legacy interface for the following filters: files, links, commands and stickers, it is bulky and confusing, I was copying the same interface in a hurry, now I had time to rethink it. It is very important for you to know that all deprecated options are still supported and we're not going to stop supporting them any time soon. We value your time and we don't want to break what is working right now. But it is strongly recommended to stop using deprecated options and move on. For your attention, all deprecated options were marked with "deprecated" label on the web-site.

"New users" tab overhaul! It was redesigned and we also added some new features and some changes. New policies: — cannot send polls; — cannot invite users; — cannot pin messages (ignored in public supergroups); — cannot change chat info (ignored in public supergroups). Flexible restriction time - select between seconds, minutes, hours and days for precise timing. Previously you could only use days. Maximum value for that option was changed to 300 days, down from 1000. Same flexibility is now available for all time-related options on that tab. "Kick if name is longer than" now temporarily bans for 60 seconds. Maximum value was changed from 365 to 128. "Kick if name contains RTL character(s)" now temporarily bans for 60 seconds. "Kick anybody who joins" now temporarily bans for 60 seconds. Hindi section was added to Top Telegram Chats.

Triggers have two new actions - change reputation and change XP. It means that you can use them to increase or decrease these points. Use negative values to decrease. Starting from this release, legacy triggers are deprecated.

The latest update brings "AND/OR" switch for trigger actions. By default, trigger actions are executed one by one. When switched to "OR", a random action is chosen from the given list.
