Multilevel Speaking. Model Answers: I. Hometown. 1. Where is your hometown? My hometown is in Fergana valley which located in a Central Asian country known as Uzbekistan. It’s called Bagdad and it is the administrative center of district of the same name. 2. Is that a big city or a small place? My hometown is a medium-sized town, so it normally takes local people less time to commute. As far as I know, it has a population of roughly twenty thousand of people. It can be overcrowded on Thursdays and Sundays because people from visit the central bazaar there. 3. How long have you been living there? I’ve been living in my hometown since I was born. I’ve never thought about leaving my hometown because my entire social circle is there and the cost of living is pretty low. However, I also want to work in a different cities even abroad for a few years to broaden my horizons. 4. Do you like your hometown? Yes, I do. The local people, food and lifestyle is pretty incomparable. Palov, the tranquility, the nightlife and bazaars are favorable to many inhabitants there. 5. Is there anything you dislike about it? Well yes, there have been lots of traffic jams recently. They are quite annoying especially during rush hours. Also, some drivers doesn't follow the basic traffic rules. But, that's the only thing I dislike about it. 6. Do you like living there? Yes, I like living there. The city is eco-friendly, the environment is pleasant, the people are kind and I can't imagine living somewhere else really. There are also many parks, shops.
