Previously, the alert showed a capped “volume ratio” where 100% meant the alert candle had the highest volume in the checked range. The problem: a candle that barely beat the previous high-volume candle and a candle that massively outshined it both showed as 100%.
From now on, alerts show Volume dominance instead. This compares the alert candle’s volume to the second-highest volume candle in the same checked range.
Example:
• Volume dominance: 150% means the alert candle had 1.5x the volume of the runner-up candle.
• Values above 100% mean the alert candle was the highest-volume candle in the range.
• Values below 100% mean another candle in the range had higher volume.
This should make volume strength easier to judge at a glance. | 185 |
