The driver update is probably to fix the BSOD issue, but it could include new anti-cheat changes

There is currently a "kick player" exploit that works on BO6 and all CODs going back to BOCW
It's been around for awhile but it was recently added to a public cheat & given some media attention, so it's being used now more than ever
If you get kicked out of a game, check the ban appeal page for a shadow ban. If you aren't shadow banned, it was likely just the exploit & you can proceed. Nothing to do with PO

Ricochet's latest driver causes some COD players to receive a BSOD/forced reboot
The issue is not caused by the PO cheat software & there is no change that you can make on your end that would fix it. If you have the issue, you'll have to wait until Ricochet reverts their driver or updates it

To clarify, I was not busy with anything else. I have been working on this nonstop since the Season 2 update dropped
A lot of people thought I was trying to figure out how to update the cheats which isn't true at all. I updated the cheats within 15 minutes. The rest of the downtime was solely for ensuring PO was safe on the new anti-cheat version
Ricochet has had a kernel driver since 2021 & they update it several times per year. This Season 2 update included a major update to their driver. Major anti-cheat updates like this require time to look into
You should all know that most cheat developers do not do what I do after anti-cheat updates. If you see a cheat provider online quickly after a major anti-cheat update like this, it means they didn't check the new anti-cheat at all & are hoping for the best. That careless speed is not something that would be acceptable to offer under Phantom Overlay

Downtime like this really is whatever you make it. You can be upset about it or you can be happy that you are with a cheat provider that cares enough about your account to do this kind of comprehensive checking of a new anti-cheat version before allowing you to inject

COD BO6/MW3/MW2 external cheats
Everything looks great so far in terms of the COD external cheats
As everyone should know by now, when the anti-cheat driver updates, I take a little extra long to ensure everything is safe before I allow users to inject
I am going to work a little more & then sleep. When I wake up, I won't have much to do before I can put injections back online & announce the all clear π»β€οΈ
I will add time compensation when I'm done of course
COD BO6/MW3 DMA cheats
These have already been back online with the all clear for ~5 hours as posted in the DMA announcements (https://t.me/PhantomOverlayDMA). I've just added 5 hours to all COD DMA subs because that's how long COD DMA was down today
If anyone is having issues with MW3 DMA on Game Pass, know that I will fix it after I sleep and give extra compensation time over that

Season 2 update for COD has dropped. Both the game & the anti-cheat driver have been updated
Please Restart your computer before playing the game again as a routine precaution. I am not concerned, but it is always good to do

Phantom Overlay is undetected, but Ricochet can still shadow/temp/perma ban you even if the cheat you're using is undetected
Automated
They can automatically track
- the way you aim
- you preaiming/prefiring
- your reaction time
- where you are looking relative to enemies/cover
- if you run/look directly at nonvisible
- your stats
- your reports
They can use all of this information to issue shadow bans or even temp/permanent bans without needing a human to review your gameplay
Manual
Some humans sit & review gameplay all day. They likely dedicate most of their time to reviews of the higher levels in Ranked Play, though they may also review highly reported players in casual modes
Solutions
Assume that a Ricochet team member is sitting down & watching you play the game 24/7. This isn't going to happen in reality, but their automated server-side systems do watch you 24/7 & they can manually review any piece of your gameplay whenever they want, so it's a good thing to pretend is happening. Tips below
- Use a legitimate looking config
- Make sure your aimbot (if you use it) looks human
- Do not look at people through walls
- Do not preaim or prefire people as they become visible
- Do not run directly at nonvisible enemies
- Move in a normal way around maps
- Hold common angles even when you know no one is there
- Check corners/clear buildings even if you know no one is there

Still working. Like I said COD DMA is back online since yesterday but the COD externals will be a little longer. Time compensation will be added
I think a lot of p2c didn't notice the new anti-cheat changes, but I did & although downtime like this sucks, I will not let any of you back on until I'm confident everything is safe

COD DMA is updated, but external users must continue to wait
Any time the anti-cheat updates like this, I must ensure my users will be safe before allowing them back online
For those who want to play legit while you wait, you need to Restart your computer using the Restart option in Windows (not Shut Down, but rather Restart) so that you clear your RAM of any cheat traces before playing legit on the updated anti-cheat. When you use Shut Down, some of your computer's memory is saved on disk & used for your next boot rather than being entirely reset
The ETA is a day or so. All downtime will be compensated. I suggest PO users do not use alternate software during this downtime. There are many cheats other than PO who have already come back online & had to disable their injections due to ban reports. Fastest does not equal best

COD just updated their anti-cheat, so please follow the usual steps I tell you when this happens:
- Close any open games
- Restart your computer (not Shut Down, but rather use the Restart option) to clear your RAM
- After this, play legit if you want or wait for follow up announcement
I also need to update the COD cheats because the game updated as well

Hey everyone,
Going private was an "it gets worse before it gets better" type of situation
I did it to free myself up to focus on improving the cheat software & community, but the ~2 weeks following, I was busy with the "going private" transition itself
