As a liquidity provider on Uniswap protocol v2, would you rather see AMPL / WETH or AMPL / DAI pools?
(or any stablecoin, possibly %-bearing) The first exposes you to ETH volatility. The second exposes you (more) to impermanent loss.
BTW! You'll notice the link in that tweet points to something called AMPLTalk. AMPLTalk is a new forum we've just created. It...
Is a safe haven for all the kids who grew up endlessly fascinated with the history, theory, and macroeconomics of money. We seek to understand the role of cryptocurrencies in this context—and share a desire to have fun learning and connecting with like-minded people. It has two sides. The Front Page Articles contain curated collection of longer-form pieces and the best organic posts from the Forum. We aim for the other side, the Forum, to become the center of economic discourse in crypto--whether or not it's related to the Ampleforth project specifically. Head on over and check it out! Hey Everyone,
As many may know, the Ampleforth protocol was designed before the existence of flash loans.
Now that flash loans are live, we need to carefully consider the impact it has on the protocol and
the wider AMPL ecosystem.
With that in mind, we published this RFC:
https://github.com/ampleforth/RFCs/blob/master/RFCs/rfc-2.md
The simple summary is it's a proposal to disallow rebase from being called by contracts, to guard against flash loan attacks on liquidity providers' rebase awards.
Given the nature of these interactions and the desire to protect the existing liquidity providers, we're aiming to deploy this change before the next rebase event tomorrow. (About 24hrs from now).
Please give it a read. Thanks!

We've completed security audits on the distribution/liquidity program with CertiK. Everything looks good. We're making some final touches on the interface and then waiting for Uniswap v2. Hopefully that's not too much longer.
