Doomers doom no matter the subject or trigger. The subject matter for the dooming is irrelevant, they will move the goal post and doom about something else to whoever is willing to listen. Its a personality trait, highly manipulative and sociopathic. They require their feelings are validated, the validation is what they need, agreement is validation, disagreement is validation. Its the classic child that cries so mommy will come over and kiss their boo boo even if no boo boo exists…thats manipulation, its learned early and far too many people give in

I will never understand doomers. What can possibly be achieved by going around and saying "Woe to us, all is lost?" If it's a shaming tactic to influence people who can actually do something about it, well, it doesn't work, does it? The only explanation I can come up with is, it's a misguided attempt at virtue-signaling. Dooming as victimhood-by-proxy, because victimhood is after all the coin of the virtual West. Except all it gets one is pity at best, while prompting gloating derision from one's enemies. I'd understand it as a tactic to make the enemies overconfident, but if we're being honest, their hubris is already dialed up to 11. So again, what good does it do? Do you see me trying to argue with Putin, or Biden's handlers, or Shoigu, or the EU here? No, because it's pointless. Even if some of these folks weren't beyond the reach of arguments at this stage, my Telegram channel isn't going to reach them — and they sure as hell won't change their mind as a result. This is the real world, not some Hollywood fable. [EDITED FOR CLARITY: Obviously, Putin and Shoigu are not in the same category here as "Biden's handlers or the EU" when it comes to being open to arguments. One group may be amenable to reason but sure as hell won't take advice from a random guy on Telegram, while the other lives in a delusional la-la-land of their own making.
