Well the cat is outta the bag. Lobo will officially have 2 events every month in DC next year. 2nd Saturdays at green lantern And 4th Saturday (with a couple changes on certain months) at the crucible. Over the course of time we have heard our community and the ask to try and find a space more suitable for fur suits and for what we used to have at the eagle. While we are proud of what we have built at GL there is some truth to the fact we lost some of what made us great originally at the eagle. So let me be the first to say welcome home. More to come. This has been something I personally have been working towards over the last 2 years. And I couldn't be more proud to say it's here. But there is more. In addition to this event at the crucible later this year lobo will also be adding education classes to the rotation at crucible as well. While the event at crucible will require a membership and will be slightly more expensive each month. We believe this offers the best chance to blend both worlds that lobo has become as we enter our 5th year of existence. A throw back to our roots and a way to still keep the cirucit party lobo has become in some aspects. There is of course the other question I get often which is will this event be 18+ the answer for now at least is that it will start off as a 21+ event... HOWEVER during the course of the year we will look at having a couple 18+ events so that we can also bring that community into the fold. We can't promise that will happen but it is something we will work towards and look into. In short we have heard you and continue to do our best to ensure that LOBO doesn't lose sight of what we started off as in the first place. A community event where everyone could feel like they had a home.

Hello Everyone, As many of you know LOBO is always looking to do new and different things that will allow as much of our community to express themselves as possible. With that goal in mind today we are excited to announce a new party coming to The Crucible in Washington D.C. On Saturday September 23rd we will be having: LOBO Presents - Animal Haus at the Crucible! This event will be unlike the others we have run in the past. For starters this is a sex positive and LGBTQIA+ all gender welcoming play space meaning that you won't hear me yelling at you about being naked on the dance floor. Ironically the two places you can't do naughty things are the social area and the bathroom so like please don't make us be the pee police. For all of our furry friends there is a ton of space to fursuit and we can store plenty and I do mean plenty of totes. So come in and suit! This First Event On September 23rd However Does Not Require a membership A membership purchase only cost $40 for the whole year and includes a ton of events to attend at special rates for members. Most events are members only but members can bring 1 guest. The Crucible also does have covers for most of their weekend events! They are usually $25 for members (another great reason to get the membership) and $35 for guests of members! (You cannot enter the event if you aren't a member or a guest of a member) The membership includes a ton of amazing benefits! Including starting in 2024 a monthly LOBO event! You can also check out QINK (One of our favorite sister parties in the city), As well as tons of kink education and access to the dungeon for all sorts of fun play time. We are extremely excited to say that starting in 2024 LOBO will be running 2 monthly events in DC. We will continue to be every second Saturday at Green Lantern & introduce the brand new LOBO! 4 years ago today we started this adventure at the time we had no idea what we would be walking into or just what this event would become or how far it would go. We haven't always gotten everything right but we are so incredibly thankful for the support the community has given us along the way without all of you we have always said we would just be idiots pressing buttons in an empty room. So thank you for everything and we can't wait to see what comes next!

Ohio friends, https://www.acluohio.org/en/news/top-5-reasons-vote-no-issue-1-august-8th-0 Hey yall, It may have been missed with everything going on in the world but Ohio is going to be having a out of the blue special election on August 8th! The link above explains it in detail but if you are able to vote in the state of Ohio you need to do your best to make sure you vote NO! on issue 1 on August 8th. This is a drastic move by the Ohio state government to make it harder for anyone to do anything and it is directly related to trying to keep an amendment giving women more rights to choice regarding abortion in Novemeber. IF YOU AREN'T CURRENTLY REGISTERED TO VOTE IN OHIO YOU CAN STILL REGISTER TO VOTE IN THIS ELECTION THE DEADLINE IS JULY 10TH. Early voting begins July 11th. Please make sure you let all of your friends know to vote. In addition LOBO will be working with all of our friends here in Columbus and Ohio to help door knock or hand out flyers or do our part to help make sure this thing does not pass. So please keep an eye out for that.

A message from Jake/Ultra As you may know I have recently had a couple unexpected hospital visits. Its important to know I have a condition called Mitochondrial Disease. During this past LOBO Columbus at the begining of May, I made my first of two important ER visits due to elevated heart rate and BP. Upon being discharged from the first, I decided a second trip was warranted to OSU Wexner Medical Center. After a consultation they decided to admit me diagnosed something called Mitral Valve Regurgitation. Its not currently life threatning but it can be. We also discovered that my EF was 50% which is on the lowest side of normal but not where someone my age should be. After careful consideration I have decided to take some time to focus on my medical health. In doing so, we have begun to address my GI issues and weight loss, which may include a second feeding tube placement and additional specialist visits, based out of OSU Wexner. For the first time in a long time I feel like I have an entire medical team behind me that can actually help me make progress. By going down this route I am committing to making myself better. For many years now I have given all of myself to the communities I have served and I don't intend to stop; however, right now I need to take a bit of a break. I want to thank everyone for their love and continued support as we I go down this path of recovery. Thanks, Ultra/Jake
