How the development of Sumer matters to Meter:
Why develop Sumer:
-Users were confused about different versions of the same token and their fragmented liquidities.
-The opportunity cost of giving up yield and security on their original chain prevented new users from entering a new ecosystem.
The goal of Sumer:
-A Risk Engine that understands correlations among different assets. It automatically matches users’ liabilities with the most correlated assets to maximize the borrowing capacity without increasing risks.
-With this Risk Engine, Sumer allows the user to mint suToken (or CDPs in some protocols) that track stablecoin, ETH, and BTC. You could use them for trading and DeFi farming in new ecosystems while your original deposit stays in the original chain, earning interest and lending yield.
Marketing side
-Chinese market will be our next focus, pushing the narrative of ‘Multichain-Defi-Lego’, which will be used as the material on both Chinese media and Chinese KOLs.
-Preparing for the upcoming events, including Token 2049 in Singapore and Smartcon in Hong Kong as an opportunity to connect with developer communities and other protocols to bring resources to both Meter and Sumer.
