Cranberry Orange Muffins
Ingredients:
8 pasture-raised eggs
1 cup of melted virgin coconut oil
½ cup melted grass-fed butter
10 drops organic essential oil of orange
1 tbsp. vanilla
15 drops of vanilla cream stevia
1 cup blanched almond flour
½ cup coconut flour
1 ½ cups organic cranberry sauce
1 tsp aluminum free baking powder
1 tsp pink salt (or other healthy salt)
Instructions:
Step #1: Gather all the necessary ingredients
Step #2: In a food processor blend together eggs, melted coconut oil, melted grass-fed butter, essential oils, stevia, and vanilla until it is creamy.
Step #3: Add in flours, cranberry sauce, baking powder and salt
Step #4: Mix all the ingredients well
Step #5: Pour into large bowl and let it sit for 20 minutes to thicken
Step #6: Spoon out batter into lined muffin tin
Step #7: Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes until it is finished.

🌍1 in 6 Americans take a psychiatric drug – such as antidepressants. While there are a variety of factors that can influence depression – biological, psychological, environmental, and social factors, medications, family history, trauma, and cultural influences – many doctors do not talk about how comorbid health conditions, deficiencies, infections, and toxicities can lead to or worsen depression!
For example, “deficiencies in B vitamins, i.e., B1, B6, B9, and B12, have been linked to depression, as they are essential for neuronal function... Furthermore, low levels of vitamin B9 and B12 have been associated with a poorer response to antidepressants” (PMID: 37299394). Plus, “the risk of depression increases by 8–14% in people with vitamin D deficiency” (PMID: 37299394).
Another study showed that “higher serum Pb [lead] levels were related to increased risks of major depression and panic disorders among young US adults” (PMID: 34414543). And, “exposure to heavy metals… is related to the pathogenesis of depression. Vitamin B3 has significant antioxidant properties, and thus, might protect against oxidative stress induced by heavy metals” (PMID: 34414543).⚙️
🪲A Lyme disease study also showed that “individuals diagnosed with Lyme borreliosis in the hospital setting had an increased risk of mental disorders, affective disorders, sc*de attempts, and sc*de” (PMID: 34315282).
At times, antidepressants are necessary and life saving. For others, antidepressants may make people feel worse or lead to significant health problems. Informed consent is important. Knowing what can potentially worsen or cause depression is important. Your health is important.

Chocolate Coconut Energy Bars Recipe
Ingredients
½ cup coconut oil
½ cup cocoa butter (or additional coconut oil)
¼ cup honey (or to taste)
½ cup cocoa powder
1½ cups shredded coconut (unsweetened)
½ cup chia seeds (or additional coconut)
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
stevia extract (for extra sweetness, optional)
Instructions
Line a 9×13 baking dish with parchment paper.
Melt the coconut oil and cocoa butter in a small pan over low heat.
Add the honey and stir well.
Whisk in the cocoa powder, shredded coconunt, and chia seeds.
Add the vanilla and stevia tincture, if using.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and refrigerate for 1 hour or until hardened (you can also freeze it to speed up the process).
Cut into bars and enjoy

Thyroid health 🌿
Eating well, management of stress levels, herbal medicine if required and your posative intention on outcome can be ever so helpful for managing the symptoms of both hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism. This protocol may also be key part in restoring health back to normal. Here are some herbal choices. Eleuthero; suitable for both hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism, this includes both Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis and Graves’ Disease. This herb doesn’t directly impact the thyroid gland, but instead impacts the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, this herb helps the body to adapt to stressful situations, also provides immune system support. Adrenal problems, are common in people with thyroid and autoimmune conditions, Eleuthero is considered to be an adaptogenic herb.
Bladderwrack; those with hypothyroidism taking this herb can help restore the health of those with hypothyroidism. If one is taking synthetic pharmaceuticals or natural thyroid hormone it may be possible to stop taking these drugs. Bladderwrack and Ashwagandha can stimulate the production of thyroid hormone in some people with hypothyroid conditions. This is not to say that most people with hypothyroid conditions can stop taking thyroid hormone medication and substitute it for Bladderwrack and Ashwagandha. It is always useful to address the underlying cause of the condition.
This herb and herbs like Irish moss do not include iodine, some people with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis don’t do well when taking this herb. However, there are others with Hashimoto’s that manage quite well.
Some will try and avoid it out of fear it may inflame their condition. This herb shouldn’t be taken by those with hyperthyroidism, and is not suitable for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Ashwagandha; An adaptogen herb for people with thyroid and autoimmune thyroid conditions, this herb has many different benefits. The great things about most herbs, they usually benefit the body in many different ways if used appropriately. Ashwagandha helps the body to cope with stress by affecting the HPA-axis, and is also beneficial for the immune system. Another benefit, it has anti-inflammatory effects.
Gotu Kola. Another great apoptogenic herb that supports brain health, nerves, and mood. It is considered one of the safer adoptogenic herbs.
Cordyceps sinensis, a fungus, is also often found in hypothyroid formulas. It is a wonderful adaptogenic herbal choice for patients that are extremely fatigued. With the additional bonus that it can help with insulin sensitivity and cardiovascular health.
Some supplements that are also helpful Selenium 100mcg, zinc 20mg, b12 0.1 mg, tyrosine 500mg. plenty of sunshine, fresh air and 2 or 3 times a week soak your feet in a bucket of warm water with 2 cups of Epsom salts . HEAVY METALS IN VACCINES
Vaccines contain harmful metals as adjuvants and preservatives.
Adjuvants are added to vaccines to increase the immune response. They include toxic metals like aluminum.
Once aluminum is in the body, it’s very hard to remove. It can cause damage locally at the injection site, as well as the brain, spleen, muscles, bones, liver and heart. Because of the way aluminum stimulates the immune system, it can lead to chronic autoimmune disease, which is now at epidemic levels in dogs.
As a preservative, many vaccines contain ethyl mercury, also known as thimerosal or merthiolate.
Mercury is highly toxic to the central nervous system and can lead to a loss of motor function (like degenerative myelopathy), and causes memory problems by destroying brain cells.
Once again, glyphosate in your dog’s body can make vaccines much more toxic. Glyphosate inhibits detoxification organs from eliminating toxins. This combination also restricts the liver’s ability to activate vitamin D and therefore accounts for the broad-spectrum vitamin D deficiency we’re seeing.
Allergies, overgrowth of harmful pathogens, celiac disease, SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth), and harmful pathogens like C. difficile. The bottom line is that heavy metals like mercury, in the presence of the herbicide glyphosate, are 1,000 times more toxic than they are in isolation.
LOWER THE RISKS
• Avoid chemicals and toxins in household cleaners, body products and lawn care.
• Grow your own food or get to know your local farmer.
• Source clean, unprocessed food.
• Don’t allow the dysregulation of your dog's immune system with unsafe and unnecessary vaccinations and drugs.
• Spend time in the sunshine, which provides a host of nutrition.
• Exercise is vital. You don’t purge spent mitochondria or make new ones without it. Your lymphatic system won’t work without it. Your brain doesn’t work without it.
• Support gut health with beneficial bugs through pre- and probiotics and enzymes.
We’re no longer living in a world where you can take clean or safe for granted. It’s better to face the facts and control your dog’s exposure as best you can.

HOW DOGS GET HEAVY METAL POISONING
Just like us, dogs are unavoidably exposed to heavy metals through environmental pollutants like traffic fumes, contaminated air or water, or radiation.
Here’s a look at some of the places there may be heavy metals in your dog’s life.
• Dog food: aluminum, mercury, cadmium, lead
• Vaccines: mercury, aluminum Flea and tick meds: aluminum, arsenic Water: lead, aluminum
• Dog toys: lead Painted or ceramic bowls: lead
• Rawhide chews: lead, arsenic, mercury
• Plastic water bottles: lead
• Yard fertilizers: cadmium
• Household products (fabric softeners, floor waxes, talcum powder): mercury
Environmental heavy metal sources are hard to avoid.
But you can manage some of the other exposures listed above … including some of the biggest culprits: diet and vaccines.
HEAVY METALS IN DOG DIETS
In the late 80s, my colleague the late Dr Gloria Dodd evaluated the presence of heavy metals in dog foods. She found aluminum in high levels in many commercial foods.
She was especially concerned about the high levels of aluminum because of its dangerous effects on the brain and nervous tissues, and thus the organs of the entire body.
This means it contributes to chronic diseases like arthritis, kidney failure, heart disease, and liver disease, as well as endocrine disorders like diabetes and hypothyroidism.
Testing in 2016 by the Clean Label Project found dangerous levels of mercury, lead, arsenic and cadmium in the commercial pet foods they analyzed.
Overall, they found there were hundreds of times more cadmium, lead and arsenic in pet foods than in cigarettes. Some pet foods had 16 times more lead than the water in Flint, Michigan. Other noteworthy findings were …
Fish-based foods tested worst Feed fish sparingly to avoid toxins like mercury, and avoid high mercury fish like swordfish, tilefish, shark, king mackerel and bigeye tuna. Feed wild-caught fish instead of farmed fish.
>Grain-free foods had higher toxins. This is likely due to higher glyphosate levels in grain free foods because of legume ingredients that are spray-dried with glyphosate before harvest. Glyphosate has been shown to increase heavy metal toxicity.
THE GLYPHOSATE PROBLEM
MIT researcher Dr Stephani Seneff has authored The Destructive Effects of Heavy Metals and Glyphosate. Glyphosate (Roundup) is a major driver of disease. HRI Laboratories testing shows that glyphosate is found at very high levels (up to 600 ppb) in commercial pet foods.
Dr Seneff describes aluminum accumulation in the brain and its synergistic promotion by glyphosate. Not only do heavy metals sequester in bones, but so does the glyphosate … and this is a staggeringly toxic combination. Mercury and aluminum are all the more toxic in the context of glyphosate.
