Lowest ever Cutoff! While we predicted cutoff around 71, RBI surprised all of us again. This shows a clear trend that RBI is looking for aspirants with an analytical mindset. Make a realistic timetable based on actual number of hours available and try to map it to number of pages that you are planning to study. For the benefit of all, we are posting it on the channel 1. Don’t write what you know, but what has been asked: Aspirants need to get out of their university/XII class mindset. No matter how many times we emphasize on this, aspirants are still not taking the advice seriously. 2. Have an excellent introduction. Average conclusion is just not enough. Thrown in some data, recent event, precise definition, Committee, Constitutional article. Average conclsion sets path for average anser and below average marks 3. Lack of points: Examiner is smart, Don’t waste 30 words in explaning 1 point. Instead write 3 points with 10 words each. 4. Write in subheadings: Except 2-3% learners, none of the aspirants used this style. Usage of subheading creates an impact that the aspirant has structured thinking. 5. Keep you answer analytical: You need to show examiner that you have analytical approach. Give him something to think upon and showcase your understanding. 6. Structuring - Proabably the most important point. We’ll be posting a detailed post/video on Structuring soon. Please understand, there is no need to worry. Writing a good descriptive answer can be very well learned in 30 days. Structuring 1/n > The Most important thing in any question in structuring. > Please don't break it down into Introduction, body and conclusion. This shows not only your lack of in depth knowledge but also your lack of analytical capabilities. This is acceptable for class 8 student but not for a well qualified graduate. > Try to break down questions into 4-5 parts to address the demand of the question comprehensively. > The easiest way to get out the of the race is to miss a sub-part. A lot of aspirants are committing this mistake. In fact, they even showed us model answers of questions of some reputed coaching institutes which are committing the same mistake. > Directive words like discuss, examine, critically examine, explain, Comment etc are important. Don't ignore them.  E.g. Discuss means not only you should elaborate on what question has stated but also explore the other side of it. This should also be supplemented with a few suggestions > Don’t be verbose in answering any question. Be concise and to the point. Believe us, we know how difficult it is to make things compact.
