🌴 Traditionally, we are sharing some beautiful shots from the EEF 2026 venue 📹 🔹 At the Far East Street exhibition everything came together today: bright sunshine, the endless sea and that fresh sea breeze you remember for a long time. 🔹 A large and beautiful fair is running at the Republic of Buryatia stand at the Far East Street exhibition. It features jewellery made of natural stones, candles with the scents of Baikal’s nature, and wool and felt products. 🔹 At the ethnographic pavilion of the Magadan Region’s display at the Far East Street exhibition, visitors can make a wish on a real whale vertebra, see a bear’s skull, shamanic paraphernalia and unique household items, learn about the traditions of the indigenous peoples and view Evenki and Koryak costumes. The pavilion’s design features authentic local ornaments. 🔹 At the Rosrybolovstvo Fish House pavilion, guests are being treated to scallop raf coffee. The idea grew out of a dessert served at the same venue: ice cream made with real scallop caused a stir, and the experiment went further — the ice cream was turned into a dry powder and used as the base for a raf coffee. 🌺 RoscongressDirect

🇷🇺 🇻🇳 Vietnam is ready to serve as a bridge between Russia and ASEAN — Vietnam’s Minister of Finance at EEF 2026. Ngo Van Tuan made the statement at the Russia — ASEAN Business Dialogue. Vietnam is offering itself as a platform for Russian companies to enter the markets of the entire bloc. The interest is mutual across several industries at once: manufacturing and processing, high technology, energy, logistics and agriculture. 🌴 More than 7,000 people from 78 countries took part in EEF 2026 — Yury Trutnev, Russian Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to Far Eastern Federal District

“The largest delegations came from China, Indonesia, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Vietnam, India and Myanmar. The forum was attended by representatives of 17 states unfriendly to Russia, as well as by 2,400 representatives of Russian and foreign business from more than 1,000 companies. The forum programme featured 150 business events with over 1,000 speakers, and 1,200 business talks were held,”

🌴 Mongolia intends to promote Power of Baikal project

“The project to supply Russian natural gas to China across the territory of Mongolia opens up new strategic opportunities for economic cooperation between the three countries and has every chance of becoming a project that creates long-term mutual benefit in energy, transport, infrastructure, investment and the training of professional personnel. We intend to promote this and other major projects on the principles of mutual benefit and economic efficiency,”

🇷🇺 🇮🇩 Trade between Indonesia and Russia grew by 22% in 2025 compared with the previous year, reaching USD 5 billion. This was announced by President of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto at the EEF 2026 plenary session.

“Iwant Indonesia and Russia to set themselves clear and ambitious goals - namely, to double the volume of our trade during the first period of drafting and reviewing the free trade agreement,”

the Indonesian leader proposed. 👉 Prabowo Subianto outlined the priority areas of cooperation with Russia. Jakarta is interested in supplies of Russian grain, fertilisers and energy resources, is ready to develop joint projects in the oil industry, and is also looking at the prospects for cooperation in the space sector. 🌴 Key points from Vladimir Putin’s address at EEF 2026 plenary session Economic indicators 🔹 The Far East is on the rise: over the past 11 years, the region’s gross regional product has more than tripled. 🔹 Over the same period, the region has attracted around 25 trillion roubles in capital investment. 🔹 Unemployment has fallen fourfold, to 2.2% — a record low for the region. 🔹 New high-quality jobs are being created, and incomes are above the national average. 🔹 Inflation in Russia has come down to 6.3%; the Central Bank’s measures are delivering results. 🔹 It is important not to overcool the economy. 🔹 In 2025, over 300 agreements worth more than 6 trillion roubles were signed on the sidelines of the Forum. 🔹 From 1 January 2027, a single preferential regime for business will be introduced across the entire Far East and the Arctic. A very important initiative dedicated to tying together of the logistical space of the Far Eastern and Arctic regions is the Comprehensive Plan for the Development of the Arctic and the Trans-Arctic Transport Corridor. It is previsioned to last until 2050 and it outlines projects, domains, and avenues that need to be addressed. I am asking the colleagues to speed up the elaboration of this Comprehensive Plan and to get to the implementation of this plan.
