KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM 45 yo female C1-2 Fused to skull since 2012 from post-traumatic type 2 Chiari malformation and after failed decompression surgery, declared EDS. I have an early 40’s patient who had a very serious TBI (traumatic brain injury) playing football 20 years ago in college- the type where you stay in the hospital. It left him with: 1. Numbness in both arms and legs 2. Trigeminal neuralgia / face pain 3. Heart rate / blood pressure spikes 4. Chronic bloating and IBS 5. Brain fog so bad he loses thoughts mid sentence 6. Daily Migraines 7. Loss of balance 8. Can’t walk without caned assistance 9. Weird pain all over his body 10. CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy) with violent mood swings and aggression After 20 years, the best neurologists, rehab specialists, and chiropractors in the country, and almost $1M spent on trying to resolve his issues —and it’s only gotten worse.
